There’s often a lovely light-bulb moment when someone sees their pelvic floor moving on the screen for the first time.
Something that has always been hidden suddenly makes a little more sense 😁
◽ Sometimes ultrasound confirms that you’re contracting exactly as you thought you were.
◽ Sometimes we discover that changing your breathing or giving you a different cue helps you find the movement much more easily.
◽ Sometimes we can see that your pelvic floor contracts well but doesn’t completely relax afterwards.
◽ And sometimes we look at how it behaves when you cough, brace, stand or squat.
That visual feedback can be incredibly useful.
Rather than me simply explaining what I think is happening, **you can see it too**
Ultrasound doesn’t replace a full pelvic health assessment, and it doesn’t replace an internal examination where one is appropriate.
It simply gives us another way of understanding how your body is working.
And sometimes seeing it is exactly what helps everything finally click 💡
