Dunblane Medical Practice will be closed on Monday for a local Public Holiday. If urgent medical attention call NHS Inform on 111.

GP Practices across Forth Valley will be closed on Monday 1 June 2026.

Don't forget to collect your prescription!

You can call NHS 24 on 111 day or night if you need advice for an injury or require urgent healthcare advice.

Clinical System migration

Just a reminder to patients that we will be unable to book routine appointments or blood tests until Wednesday 3rd June, while we migrate to a new clinical system. Please don't call before this time as we are unable to create appointment schedules until our new system goes live and appointments in our current system will not transfer over.

Please also request any prescriptions required during the downtime by Thursday 21st May to allow us to process these by close of day on Friday 22nd May.

We will be operating an emergency service during the down period.

We apologise for any inconvenience.

Medicines Waste

Unused medicines cost the health service in Forth Valley £5 million a year. This is the equivalent of 800 hip replacements or 600 heart bypass operations, so please order only the medicines you require.

Check what medicines you have at home — those prescribed and any bought over the counter.

Think before you order your prescription medicines

Please order only what you need

Don't order anything you are not taking

If you need more medicine in the future you can still request it. Unused medicines cannot be recycled and issued again even if they have never been opened.
