A MESSAGE FROM HEAVEN 🤍
Mum, I’m sorry for everything you had to go through when I left this world. I know losing me changed so much for you, and if I could have taken away even a little of your pain, I would have.
But please look at me now, because I am truly well. I am looked after here, and I’m not alone. (There is an older man and lady around him) ~ and honestly Mum, I’m being very well fed! There is even something sweet appearing from time to time, and you know I’m not going to complain about that! 🤍
I’m still me, Mum. I’m still particular about how I look. My jeans have to be right & my trainers have to be perfect! I still have my charm, and yes, I’m still admiring my hair and my teeth too. Some things clearly don’t change!
I know I wasn’t always the best listener. You gave me advice and I didn’t always take it on board, and I know that probably frustrated you. So I’m sorry, Mum. I hope you can smile when you think of that now, because you were only ever trying to look after me. You are the best mum, and I love you from the bottom of my heart.
I don’t look back at my life with sadness. But if there is one thing I wish I had done more, it would have been to tell you just how much I loved and appreciated you. I hope you know that now. I bring you a robin because I want you to know I’m close.
And that spiritual presence you were aware of, but sometimes wondered if it was really true? Mum, it was. That was me coming back to you, just to say, “I’m still with you.” And when that song from my funeral suddenly comes into your thoughts, please don’t let it bring you back to sadness. Let it be my little sign from heaven, reminding you that I am free.
I see you holding onto the things I left behind. I see you clutching them close and trying so hard to feel my essence in them. Mum, you don’t need to search so hard. I’m not only in the things I left behind. I’m around you in so many ways. I’m with you, and I want you to start finding your way back into your own life again.
I know some days feel like you are living in a daze, from morning until night, and you wonder where the day has gone. I know you feel confused sometimes and like nothing seems to go straightforward. Please, Mum, gently start putting your life back in order. Start finding little moments of happiness again. You deserve to live, to laugh and to feel content.
I’m here, I’m free, I’m well and I am still your Ben. There’s a dog beside me too, and I’m surrounded by love. So please stop worrying about me and start taking care of you. I love you more than words could ever say, and I will always be your boy
All my love,
Ben 🤍 ###x
