Dunoon on the Move Dunoon on the Move aims to make cycling, walking and wheeling accessible, fun and sociable. Developed by Dunoon Community Development Trust & funded by HITRANS.

Check out our programme of walks, led cycles, cycle maintenance training & e-bike loans. Dunoon on the move continues the excellent work of Dunoon Bothy project supporting people to make more everyday journeys by walking, cycling or wheeling. We are getting asked a lot about whether we hire/rent bikes. Our bikes are for local folk to use, we do require proof of local address and photo id. We are NOT a bike hire facility, we are aiming for local behaviour change towards active travel as that is where our funding comes from. We do not charge for loans as we would not want to tread on toes of any hire companies that may start and we do not have the manpower to run a hire business. If our bikes were loaned out to all, it may mean they are then not available should any locals be looking to borrow.
If folk are travelling through Glasgow to get here for a holiday, there are several hire facilities who should be able to assist. If you are looking for local guided ebike rides for ages 14 and up, Lochs, Bens & Glens Ltd. are the people to speak to 🥰
