Today, on World Environment Day, we're reflecting on the importance of protecting and enhancing the natural spaces that surround us 🌎

Alongside being a place of remembrance, our crematoria is also a peaceful green space that provides a sanctuary for visitors, local wildlife, and the wider community. We are truly committed to creating environments that honour loved ones while supporting nature too.

Every tree planted, habitat protected, and sustainable practice adopted helps us play our part in preserving these special spaces for future generations.

As we remember those who have passed, we are also reminded of our responsibility to care for the world around us 💚

For many, summer is a season of joy - spending time outdoors, enjoying the sunshine and making memories with family and friends ☀️

But for those navigating grief, bereavement or missing a loved one, this time of year can also feel incredibly difficult and isolating.

If you’re feeling that way, please know you are not alone 🤍

One thing we are very proud of is being able to offer our beautiful grounds as a peaceful and welcoming space for reflection, remembrance and quiet moments. Whether your loved one is resting with us or not, you are always welcome to visit, sit quietly and take time for yourself 🌿🕊️

🌻Father’s Day Open Chapel🌻

For many people who have lost their Dad, Grandfather or other father-figure, Father's Day can be a tricky time. For some families, coming together and doing something nice in memory of their loved one can bring comfort.

We will be opening the doors to our serene chapel on the 20th of June between 10am and 1pm. Why not take the time to:
-Light a candle
-Sit and reflect in our peaceful chapel
-Have a tea or coffee and take some time for a chat

If you would like a photograph of your loved one to be shown on our screens, please feel free to send us the photograph on here, or email it to [email protected]

Did you know that every person we care for comes through our beautiful chapel?

Sometimes, people who have selected a direct cremation for their loved ones wonder what their final journey was like. Much like a traditional funeral, the funeral director will arrive at the main doors. The coffin is then received into our tranquil chapel, and placed onto the catafalque whilst some soft, classical music plays.

Is there anything you have ever wanted to ask?
