From 1-1 enabling, learning courses delivered from our activity hub or short breaks we try and provide a personalised service for all users. CEDA works with adults and children with many disabilities including physical, learning and sensory. Based in Exeter our activity hub boosts i

We work in the community with our users providing a 1-1 enabling service and short breaks service for those who are able to access direct payments. It's , the perfect time to say a huge thank you to all the amazing volunteers who help keep things running at CEDA. From our regular volunteers who help our services run smoothly day-to-day, to those who give up their time to support events, fundraising campaigns and special projects, we simply couldn't do what we do without you. You're all superstars. Thank you! 💙

This Volunteer Week, we'd like to shine a spotlight on Sophie.

Sophie's journey with CEDA began when she was just six years old, attending our youth services. Today, she volunteers in our Activity Hub, supporting others with the special brand of care, kindness and compassion she has become known for.

After gaining work experience in her local community, Sophie approached CEDA looking for volunteering opportunities to develop her skills and give back. Since joining the team, she has become a valued volunteer, bringing enthusiasm, dedication and a willingness to help wherever she can.

We are so lucky to have Sophie as part of Team CEDA and are excited to continue supporting her development, including exploring opportunities for learning and future paid employment.

Thank you, Sophie, for everything you do. We are incredibly proud of you and grateful to have you as part of Team CEDA. 💙

It's !

Now that the dust has settled on the Great West Run 2026, it seems like the perfect time to share the incredible final total raised by Team CEDA.... Together, our amazing runners, supporters, sponsors and donors raised a staggering £9,006!

We are absolutely blown away by this achievement. When we first signed up for the event, we never imagined we would raise so much money to support disabled children, young people and adults across our community. Every mile run, every pound donated and every word of encouragement helped make this possible. Thank you to everyone who played a part.

And while we're on the subject... despite promising ourselves we wouldn't start talking about the Great West Run again for a while, we've already had several enquiries about taking part next year!

Because of that, we've started an Expressions of Interest list for the Great West Run 2027. If you'd like to be among the first to hear when places become available, or if you're already thinking about taking on the challenge next year, we'd love to hear from you.

Whether you're an experienced runner, a complete beginner, or somewhere in between, we'd love to have you on Team CEDA.

Drop us a message, comment below, or email us to register your interest.

Here's to an incredible £9,006 raised and an even bigger Run for CEDA team in 2027!

Happy Pride Month from all of us at CEDA!

At CEDA, we believe everyone deserves to feel connected, confident, happy and seen, and we're proud to stand alongside and celebrate LGBTQ+ people in our community and beyond.

To mark the start of Pride Month, enjoy these video clips of CEDA at the Exeter Pride march a few weeks ago in May. It was an absolute blast and a great reminder of the importance of inclusion, equality and creating communities where everyone can be themselves without fear of judgement.

Despite the incredibly hot weather working against us, every member of Team CEDA did amazingly at the Great West Run! ☀️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Together, we’ve now raised a whopping £8,000 — an absolutely incredible achievement — and there’s still time to donate and support our team.

A huge thank you to everyone who ran, cheered, volunteered, donated, took photos, shared posts, and supported us along the way. Your support means so much and will help continue supporting people to feel connected, confident, and included.
