Pinhoe Surgery is closed from midday today for mandatory staff training. Broadclyst Surgery, our phone lines, and AccuRx will close from 1pm today. We are back open as normal at 8am tomorrow morning. If you need medical attention during the 5 hours that we are closed today, for something that cannot wait until tomorrow, you can call the practice as normal and you will be transfered to PPG who are covering for us whilst we are closed. The extension is starting to take shape. The foundations were a challenge due to the many rainy days, but now that the sunshine is out, the walls are flying up! Thank you East Devon County Council for your contribution via CIL towards this project, we are very grateful, and to Fifields Construction who are a joy to work with and who are working really hard to bring the much needed extension to life.

EMIS BACK UP AND RUNNING AS OF 11.07AM. Thank you for your patience, back to business as usual.

Our clinical system had just gone down (EMIS). This means that we cannot currently carry out normal activities such as book appointments, give out results and request prescriptions. We will update on here once it is up and running again. Sorry for the inconvenience, it is beyond our control.

Dispensary Opening Hours

With immediate effect, a change to our dispensary opening hours - removing the Thursday morning closure.

Our new dispensary opening hours are:

8am - 12.30pm & 2 - 6pm

ADVANCE NOTICE.

PLT Day – Staff Training.

We will be closed on Tuesday 10th February 2026 from 1pm to 6.30pm for mandatory staff training.

We will be open Wednesday 11th February 2026 at 8am.

If your problem cannot wait until Wednesday 11th, please call us as normal you will be transferred over to PPG who are covering for us during this afternoon closure.

Due to flooding, our dispensary delivery driver is not able to get into work today.
Also, some of the planned deliveries would not be possible due to flooding. We will catch up with today's deliveries throughout the rest of the week. We will begin making contact with affected patients shortly.

Unfortunately a doctors bike was stolen on Friday 23rd from the practice. It was locked up, at the staff entrance. The area is covered by CCTV, and this will be shared with the police. Feel free to return it in good working order before this needs to happen.

🥳We have good news to bring you this morning! After a supportive meeting with Exeter City planners, it was determined that the building work can recommence whilst paperwork is completed. The builders are permitted to use the access via the partially remove bramble hedge on the approach road as this is the only viable access, and it will be reinstated upon completion. As this was all dealt with so promptly, there hopefully will not be a delay to the completion date. Thank you for all your support (of which we have received a lot!), it has really helped during what was a very stressful week!

It is important to note that we do not get told where the original complaint arose from. It appears some have made assumptions, which has led to targeted abuse; this is not okay and we ask you to please reconsider and remove abusive or unpleasant comments.

Next steps: digging for the foundations!👷‍♀️👷‍♂️
