The hidden depths of fertility go deep and they are really hard to deal with.

What other people see when you are on the path to pregnancy is the appointments, the stress, trying with IVF, that you're stressed out and there is probably an air of "it will happen" coming from them.

But for you, it is so much more than that. We know, we see it and we are under the water with you. Our trained reproductive reflexologists understand there is a mixture of difficulties you are facing not least having to learn a whole new language. As with any medical situation there is a lot of new terminology to learn.

With our reproductive reflexologists you are in safe, caring hands. They will help you navigate the path to fertility. Check out our global directory to find someone near to you who can help.

Understanding your cycle isn’t just helpful. It’s empowering.

That’s why we train our reproductive reflexologists to understand every phase of the menstrual cycle, so they can support you more effectively on your fertility journey.

If you're trying for a baby, the follicular phase is key. This is the first half of your cycle, lasting around 7 to 21 days. It begins when a group of follicles reach the final stage of a 100-day development, triggered by follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH).

FSH supports follicle growth and influences your cycle length and period flow. As follicles mature, they produce oestrogen, which boosts mood, energy, libido, sleep, skin health, and metabolism.

In women with PMOS (previously known as PCOS), excess testosterone can block FSH, stopping follicles from maturing and preventing ovulation. This makes conception more difficult.

Charting your cycle for three months can reveal patterns. With the right support, nutrition, lifestyle changes, and reproductive reflexology, the follicular phase can often be regulated.

Research shows regular reflexology helped 72 percent of women with PMOS conceive, with a 57 percent live birth rate.

Balancing this phase supports both fertility and overall wellbeing.

Infertility is not as rare as you might think.

The World Health Organisation estimates that 17.5% of the adult population – roughly 1 in 6 people worldwide – experience infertility.

Infertility isn't something we talk about much in education or everyday life. Many people only learn about it when they, or someone they love, experience it. Then they are faced with a steep learning curve. It can also cause significant distress, stigma and financial hardship, affecting people's mental and emotional wellbeing.

When we think about infertility, many people assume it only affects those trying for their first baby. However, that's not always the case.

There is another common myth associated with fertility: the belief that once you have your first child, you will naturally conceive a second. Unfortunately, that isn't always true. This is known as secondary infertility, and it affects many families too.

Couples who have been trying for a baby for more than 12 months without a successful pregnancy are encouraged to seek advice from a medical professional to help identify any underlying causes.

Alongside your medical team, you can also work with one of our reproductive reflexologists. As part of their training with us, they learn about the science behind fertility and many of the medical interventions you may encounter. They understand the terminology and can support you as you navigate what can often feel like an overwhelming journey. They also provide specialist reflexology treatments to support your fertility journey.

Whether you're experiencing infertility or secondary infertility, our main message is simple:

You are not alone. 💕

Learn how to support women with peri menopause.

This Friday 3rd July in a one day course, online with Barbara Scott.

The course includes:

Introduction, menopause, peri menopause, diagnosis of the menopause, symptoms and how to treat them, affects on mood and wellbeing, long term symptoms, medical treatment and Reproflexology techniques.

The last 2 hours of the day will be practical work. For this you can either observe, or use a pair of model feet (or a paper diagram) that you draw on. Ideally, you would have a 'live human', male or female that you can work on and who doesn't mind having their feet drawn on!

Still unsure about reproductive reflexology? You're not alone.

Many mums, and hopeful parents, come to us feeling sceptical. They’ve heard about reproductive reflexology through a friend, an article, or even a healthcare provider, but they’re not convinced it could really help.

And that’s okay. Scepticism is completely valid.

What most people don’t realise is that reproductive reflexology is far more than a relaxing foot treatment. Our trained practitioners are deeply knowledgeable in the complexities of both female and male reproductive health. They may suggest fertility-related tests, guide you in tracking your temperature, and support changes in lifestyle, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.

Because fertility is never just about one thing. It’s a whole-body, whole-couple journey.

We’ve supported people with PCOS, endometriosis, and those going through IVF or assisted conception. Some have been told they may never conceive, and yet they have gone on to have success stories of their own.

We see your frustration. We honour your sadness. And we’re here to support you with compassion, science-based care and hope.

Want to find someone who understands the full picture? You can connect with a local reproductive reflexologist via our website.
