Today I treated myself to a 90 minute Full Body, Face & Scalp Massage.
I was greeted by my wonderful therapist who showed me to the treatment room, during the consultation process I was asked to take a seat & soak my feet in a bowl of lovely warm water, one foot at a time my therapist applied a small amount of exfoliant to ensure my feet was clean before the treatment started-this was a really nice touch to start off the treatment.
Next my therapist explained that they use the “Gaia” spa range packed with different blends of aromatherapy to enhance your treatment, I was then asked to close my eyes and she provided 3 different aroma blends for me to choose to have during my treatment, a mixture for calming, balancing & uplifting, not knowing which one I was choosing, my senses instantly was drawn to the balancing blend(it smelt heavenly!!)
Next I was up on the massage couch ready to relax!!! After checking what pressure I would prefer my therapist started,
A good amount of time spent on my back (of course my problem area) followed by the legs & feet.
At the end of my foot massage I was quietly asked to turn on to my back to start the front of my body, front of the legs followed on to the arms & then finishing off the treatment with the most relaxing face & scalp massage💆🏽♀️
Once my treatment had finished I felt relaxed, sleepy & of course-Balanced!! My body felt lite & I was in a state of pure relaxation!!
Once dressed I was then given some water to hydrate (always very important once you’ve had a massage!!) then I sat for a further 20 minutes in their “relaxation room” & watched the fishes swimming around.
The whole experience from start to finish was wonderful,
Like I said this treatment was 90 minutes long & cost £130.00, would I go back? Absolutely!!!
