I’ve been rubbish on socials lately… but honestly, life has been extreme!

Kids, studying, renovating, and working full time - plates have been spun and social media was the first to be given the heave-ho (rather than my sanity).

Tomorrow will be my last day of reflexology at Farsley Foot Hub, but I'm pleased to share that I'll be joining the team in a new capacity - as a fully-qualified Foot Health Practitioner!
Over the last year, I’ve been quietly studying behind the scenes, and have now completed all my practical training. I'm so excited to be working alongside the lovely Gem at Sunnybank Mills and from June 3rd, I’ll be available every Wednesday for all your foot care needs.

And that’s not all… my new Reflexology treatment room (just a few doors down at 57a Town St) will officially be opening next week, with online bookings for June now open. It has been A LOT, but I'm so proud of everything that has been achieved in these last few months. I can't wait to share more with you over the next few weeks!

Been very quiet on the old socials recently but decorating is all-consuming at the moment! Copious amounts of sanding, painting and tip trips - fuelled by buckets of tea and bags of crisps - it’s truly been a labour of love. It's fair to say that Toupret is my new obsession, and HOW good are Henry Hoovers?! He has certainly put in a shift, poor fella. All will be worth it though to create a beautiful, calming space where you can fully relax and unwind, and I can’t wait to share it with you all.

I’m fully booked for May (thank you so much for keeping me so busy 💛), but I’ve just opened bookings for June in my new treatment room on Town Street, Farsley!

An inexplicably exciting day today - I finally have the keys to my very own treatment room! 🙌🏼🥂🙌🏼

I’m absolutely over the moon to be moving in upstairs at 57 Town Street. This is a real pinch-me moment and I can’t wait to welcome you all and join the Farsley community!

I’ll be upstairs neighbour to the wonderful Victoria Walker Boutique and I’ll be joined by my lovely pal Charlie Lightfoot from . We have already made a start on cleaning and decorating, and we are so looking forward to bringing this lovely building to life again. Give us a wave if you are walking by!

I’ll still be doing treatments at Farsley Foot Hub (more exciting news about that soon! 👀) and Rooms at 1900 in Calverley but for now … more ripping up carpets!

Keeping well hydrated after a reflexology treatment really helps your body get the full benefit of the session.

After reflexology, your body often shifts into a deeply relaxed “rest and repair” state, with circulation and lymphatic flow gently encouraged. Because water is essential for transporting nutrients, supporting the lymphatic system and helping the kidneys and liver process waste, good hydration helps support these natural processes after treatment.

Every cell relies on water to function well - from absorbing nutrients to removing waste and supporting the nervous system as it settles after relaxation.

You may feel a little tired or thirsty after a treatment or a sudden urge to nip to the loo! This is usually linked to changes in circulation or hydration levels as the body rebalances. Drinking water simply helps everything flow a bit more smoothly.

So when I remind clients to drink plenty of water after their treatment, it’s not just a routine suggestion, it’s one of the easiest ways to support your body after reflexology.
