Today we celebrated our PCA, Amy's, final day with us before she starts her maternity leave.

As always, the team came together to mark the occasion, showering Amy with some lovely gifts and a card as we wished her well for the exciting months ahead.

Good luck, Amy! 💚

You may remember Hugo from one of our recent posts! 🐾

Hugo belongs to our Client Care team member, Hermione, and he was back to see us for his 2nd vaccination.

It was lovely to see how much he’s grown since his last visit! 💚

This is always our night nurse, Annmarie’s, favourite part of her shift. Early morning patient walks, enjoying the peace and quiet of our beautiful Small Animal Hospital in Frome before the daytime hustle and bustle begins.

There's something truly special about starting the day walking a dog in the fresh air, and a moment of calm before the practice comes to life. 💚

A day in the life of Daisy 💕

Have you ever wondered what happens when you leave your pet with us for surgery?

Daisy recently visited us for a laparoscopic bitch spay, and we thought we'd take you behind the scenes to show you exactly what happens during her stay with us.

From her admission and pre-operative checks, to her procedure and recovery, our team was with Daisy every step of the way, ensuring she was comfortable, safe and receiving the very best care.

Swipe through to follow Daisy's journey and see how our dedicated team work together to make every patient's experience as stress-free as possible.

For more information on laparoscopic spays and their benefits, have a look on our website or get in touch with us to speak to a member of the team. 💚

Congratulations to Tanya, Laura and Alyssa on their graduation! 🎓

We are pleased to celebrate this special milestone as they graduate with their Bachelor of Veterinary Science degrees.

Over the past five years, all three have spent time with us at Garston Veterinary Group as part of their studies, and it has been wonderful to watch their knowledge, skills and confidence grow along the way.

We are delighted that their journey with us is continuing and look forward to officially welcoming them to the team this September as they begin their veterinary careers with Garston Veterinary Group.

Introducing Our New Renal Clinics. 💚

Has your pet been diagnosed with kidney (renal) disease? Our dedicated renal consultations are here to help support you every step of the way.

Following your pet's diagnosis, you'll be invited to a 45-minute appointment with one of our experienced veterinary nurses. During the consult we will:
- Explain kidney disease and answer any questions you may have, helping you feel confident about your pet's diagnosis.
- Perform a urine test and blood pressure check.
- Carry out any additional tests recommended by the vet.
- Offer advice on gradually transitioning your pet onto a renal diet, making the change as stress-free as possible.

Our aim is to provide ongoing support, helping your pet enjoy the best possible quality of life.
If you have any questions about our new renal clinics, please get in touch!
