CT Scanner Referral CPD Evening – Limited Spaces Available!

Following a successful first 12 months of providing CT scanning services to our clients, we’re delighted to now offer this service for outpatient referrals with our local veterinary community.

Join us for an informative and relaxed evening including:
• A guided tour of our CT department
• An overview of the referral process
• Discussion on clinical use and case selection
• The opportunity to meet our imaging team

Tuesday, 23rd June 2026
Arrive at our Frome surgery from 7:00pm (Food provided)
Event starts at 7:30pm
1.5 hours CPD certificate provided

It was a pleasure to meet beautiful 5-month-old Rottweiler, Lula, during her visit to our Westbury surgery.
She certainly won plenty of hearts with her lovely nature! 😍

Poor Clemmie came in to see our vet, Rose, after being stung by a bee! 🐝

Bee stings to the face and throat can be particularly concerning, as severe swelling can affect breathing.

Fortunately, Clemmie’s owners acted quickly and brought her straight in. Rose checked the area, made sure the sting had been removed, and the reaction settled within 30 minutes.

What to do if your pet is stung:

• Remove the stinger (don’t squeeze)
• Soothe the sting
• Monitor closely for any allergic reaction
• Contact your vet immediately if you are at all concerned

You’ll be pleased to know Clemmie made a full recovery! ❤️‍🩹

At just 11 weeks old, Lottie has recently joined her new forever family and visited us for her second vaccination.

She was an absolute superstar during her visit and we can’t wait to watch her grow! 💚

Our next puppy party is Monday 1st June!

This early evening event is perfect for puppies under 16 week of age who are between their 1st and 2nd vaccinations.

Our friendly and knowledgeable behaviourist, Charis, from Charismatic Pets will discuss various aspects of puppy ownership, including separation anxiety, socialisation, and much more.

The party lasts for one hour and is filled with fun games and challenges for the pups!
