🍂💉 FLU VACCINATION CLINICS 💉🍂

We would like to let our patients know that we will be holding our vaccination clinics on:

📅 Wednesday 7th October
📅 Wednesday 21st October

If you are eligible for an NHS flu vaccination, you will be invited to attend and have your flu vaccine.

💙 COVID-19 vaccinations will also be available at these clinics for patients who are eligible.

You can have the flu vaccine at the same time as the COVID-19 vaccine, if appropriate.

Please keep an eye out for your invitation from the practice. If you're unsure whether you are eligible for a vaccination, please speak to the Reception team on 01452 617295 after 11am Tue-Fri.

Due to higher than usual staff sickness within our Nursing Team and Healthcare Assistants, there may be some delays to appointments and services over the coming days.

During this heatwave, it’s important to know that some mental health medications can affect how your body responds to heat, increasing the risk of dehydration, heat exhaustion and heatstroke.

This can include some antidepressants, antipsychotics and anti-anxiety medicines.

If you take medication:
💧 Drink plenty of water
🏠 Stay cool and avoid the hottest part of the day
💊 Keep medicines stored according to the instructions and out of direct heat and sunlight
⚠️ Never stop taking prescribed medication without medical advice

If you feel unwell, dizzy, confused, unusually agitated, or think you may be experiencing heat exhaustion, seek medical advice.
