Healthy eating is about more than the number on the scales.

For people trying to conceive, achieving a healthier weight may help improve fertility, increase the chances of successful treatment, and reduce complications during pregnancy.

For some patients, reaching a target BMI may also be necessary to meet local NHS funding criteria for fertility treatment.

We understand that losing weight can be challenging, and there is no single approach that works for everyone. Whether it's making small dietary changes, increasing activity levels, joining a support programme, or seeking personalised advice, every positive step counts.

"Our beautiful boy Leo was born on 23rd April, almost 5 weeks early, weighing 6lb 7oz! He is healthy and thriving.

We cannot thank everyone at Yorkshire Fertility enough for helping us to make our dream of being parents come true and bring our little miracle into the world. We felt so well looked after and cared for by everyone in the team from our first appointment, throughout our IVF treatment, our first pregnancy scans, right through to our discharge at our 9 week scan.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming back one of our Yorkshire Fertility families with their beautiful children, Jack and Thea. 💙

After their visit, they sent us this lovely message:

"I just wanted to say a massive thank you for accommodating our visit with Jack and Thea today. It honestly felt so special for Jack to visit and for Beth to meet them both. I felt very emotional at the time and have had bouts of happy tears all day."

"You honestly don't understand how much it meant to me. All of your kindness and support at the start of our journey and helping to add the final piece to our family jigsaw. You will always be special to us."

Another 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Review for Yorkshire Fertility

I previously went to Yorkshire fertility for my first round of IVF back in September 2023, the staff were wonderful, the care and companion I received was lovely, specially when my first round ended sadly in miscarriage, they really do support you through any outcome, my next round with them was in March 2024 which ended up me having my beautiful little boy ☺️ and now I’m back there again to hopefully try again for another baby and I couldn’t recommend this clinic enough! 5* doesn’t even come close.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 New Review!!!!

Our experience with YF has been overwhelmingly positive. We are coming from the perspective of a couple with a very happy and healthy 9 month old.
We felt like Helen, Gemma, Beth, all genuinely cared about us as people, as well as our journey and outcome. They both commiserated and celebrated with us and we’ll always be grateful for that. When we had a scare early on in the pregnancy they were there to fit us in and give us the time and reassurance we desperately needed.
In our experience the overall process was as rapid as it could possibly have been with our personal circumstances. The partnership with the clinic at Manchester Fertility was seamless and the advice we were given was good without feeling like we were being led or reducing our agency. They were also very open to discussing and sometimes incorporating outside evidence that had been discovered from our own research.
Any initial concerns we had about not seeing a ‘doctor’ were misguided as the nurse practitioners were great and really know their stuff.
The phone lines were not brilliant, but when we got through they were always helpful and caring at the other end.
We are hoping to have another child, and if we need to go the IVF route again, we would come back to YF in a heartbeat.
