It can feel as though there's a supplement for everything during menopause. One promises better sleep, another more energy, and another claims to help with weight management.
But before adding another bottle to your cupboard, it's worth asking: what am I hoping this will actually help with?
Supplements can be useful in certain circumstances, but they're not all necessary for everyone.
Your needs depend on factors such as your diet, health, medications and whether you have a particular nutrient deficiency.
Rather than buying something because it's trending online, take a step back and consider what your body might need. Sometimes a supplement is appropriate. Sometimes a different approach, or advice from a healthcare professional, is the better starting point.
You deserve advice based on evidence and your individual needs, not another product promising to fix everything.
