ON LINE MAT CLASSES

Finally managed to get our acts together to offer a weekly on line mat class for those who can’t get to the studio. Recordings will be included in booking with an expiry time.

These will be very much BASI inspired so expect mindful movement, precise cueing ..no tricks, just a deep, strong and intentional practice.

(Not suitable for absolute beginners)

BEWARE OF BEAUTIFUL CONCEPTUAL STUDIOS …. are not run by teachers or by people who are invested in the quality of their offerings.

I have a responsibility to my clients, my teachers and most of all to myself to make my position clear.

So I am all for entrepreneurial spirit, creativity & inspiration in business BUT there has been a rise in accidents and injuries because of the growing trend in Reformer Pilates studios. This is because of people rushing to jump on the bandwagon by creating rubbish teacher training programs and gullible people thinking it is EASY to do this work and taking short cuts. All you have to do after that is look the part right?

SO instead

1. Show me your certification from a REPUTABLE school please.
2. Show me how you get your clients in and out of exercises including the set ups and dismounts please.
3. Show me you understand what muscles groups your exercises are being used for
4. Show me how you work with people from all walks of life.
5. Show me how you help improve body awareness and that you aren’t afraid to go slow with clients who only want to go fast

Then I’ll know if you are a teacher worth following…
