Bit by bit, we're getting the word out that you don't have to buy your glasses from the place where you had your eye test.

Here's the thing most people don't realise: your eye test prescription is yours. Legally.

So once you've had your test, you can take it anywhere you like — just like you would with any other purchase.

We happen to be optometrists ourselves, but we made a choice early on to just do eyewear, and do it properly. No rushing, no upselling, just genuinely helping you find frames you'll love wearing.

So yeah — shop around a bit! It's your face, your money, your call.

We might be based in Hexham, but this month alone we've had more than 40 new customers travel to see us for the first time, from as far afield as Berwick, Carlisle and even York — on top of all our regulars who keep coming back. That means a lot to us.
