🌍 The Real Impact of Training – Lazarus in Ethiopia 🇪🇹
While delivering training in Ethiopia to one of our long-standing clients, our International Team had the privilege of hearing two incredible stories from delegates who had previously attended training with Lazarus Training.
Both delegates shared how they had put their training into practice in real-life emergencies — making a life-saving difference when it mattered most.
🩸 One delegate used their training to save a life after encountering a woman who had been stabbed in the leg. They applied a tourniquet to help control the bleeding, providing critical intervention that helped save her life.
🚑 Another delegate responded to a serious road traffic collision involving a casualty who had sustained a significant head injury. They were able to provide vital support until emergency services arrived.
These are powerful reminders of why we do what we do. Training is not just about developing knowledge and skills — it’s about giving people the confidence and capability to act when faced with the unexpected.
We are incredibly proud and honoured to have the privilege of training these delegates again and, most importantly, to hear first-hand how they used their skills to help others in moments of real need.
Their actions demonstrate courage, compassion and a willingness to step forward when someone needs help most. We commend them both. 👏
