Ferrars Hall Care Home Proud to be part of the Huntingdon community, providing residential, and dementia care with a warm welcome always waiting.

We also have a Dementia Day Care Service run by Devika care. Ferrars Hall Care Home in Huntingdon, is a sixty-six bed purpose built care home offering residential and dementia care. The care home is located in the town centre, close to local amenities and with good transport links. The care staff have built a strong presence in their local community, hosting regular community coffee mornings and e

vents. Residents enjoy a wide range of daily activities from games and crafts to visits from local groups and schools.

🎉 What a fun-filled Friday we’ve had at Ferrars Hall! 🎉

This morning, our residents took on a fun PE lesson doing an obstacle course with a variety of challenges! 🏆 We enjoyed some table curling, tested our aim with bean bag throwing, and worked together to sort colourful balls. There was plenty of laughter, teamwork and a little bit of friendly competition along the way! 😄

Then this afternoon, we were delighted to welcome Mother Goose Corner Nursery to visit us. Our residents always love spending time with the little ones, and there were plenty of smiles, laughter and special moments shared between generations. 💜

A wonderful day filled with fun, friendship and intergenerational joy! 💕

🥊 Gladiator-style fun at Ferrars Hall! 🏆

We had plenty of laughs as our residents took part in a hilarious Gladiator-style challenge — the aim was simple… knock the paper cup off a staff member’s head using a pool noodle! 🥤😂

It was fantastic to see our residents getting involved, having fun and showing that you’re never too old to be a little bit silly! ❤️

📚English Literature Day at Ferrars Hall Care Home! 📚

Yesterday, as part of our Back to School Month, we enjoyed a wonderful day celebrating all things English Literature! ✏️

In the morning, the residents put their thinking caps on for a fun game of Hangman!

Then, in the afternoon, the residents got creative and travelled back in time through their memories and wrote a poem about their school days. ✍️❤️

It was lovely to hear their stories and memories, bringing back special moments from their childhoods.🍎🎓

On Monday, our residents stepped back in time for a fascinating History Lesson all about Ancient Egypt! 🇪🇬✨

During the morning, we got creative designing our very own sarcophaguses and had lots of fun making mummies! 🎨🧻

Then, in the afternoon, we hopped aboard our very own Time Train and travelled all the way back to Ancient Egypt! 🚂⏰

September’s activity theme is “Back to School”, and what better way to start than by creating our very own crest! 🏫✨

Our residents each got creative, colouring in different sections of the picture. Once everyone had finished their part, we brought all the pieces together to create one fantastic crest! 🎨🖍️

Our residents enjoyed a lovely day out to Stockwood Discovery Centre in Luton! 💕

We had a wonderful time exploring the Carriage Museum, taking a fascinating look at the historic carriages and chatting about times gone by. There were plenty of memories shared and stories told along the way. 🐴🚌✨
