Alison, Fiona and families would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their many kind expressions of sympathy extended to them by way of cards, calls, messages and flowers received on the sad loss of Joanne. Special thanks to ward 112 A.R.I. for their kind care and attention and N.E.C.C. carers, Bydand Medical Group and all at Jubilee Hospital for their dedicated and professional services over the years, to Rev. Steve Potts for his comforting and personal service, to Fiona Forrest and her team for the lovely teas and to Lotus Petal for the beautiful floral tributes. Ian Esslemont Funeral Directors are looking for a reliable, compassionate and hardworking Funeral Service Operative to join our team.
(THIS IS AN OPERATIONAL ROLE NOT AN ARRANGER ROLE.)
The role will include:
● Participating in an on-call rota
● Furnishing and preparing coffins
● Washing, cleaning and maintaining our funeral vehicles
● Cleaning and maintaining our premises
● Carrying out heavy lifting duties — physical strength and fitness are essential
● Providing support to the wider funeral service team
● Maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, dignity and professionalism at all times
● Assisting with funerals
The successful applicant must:
● Hold a full clean UK driving licence
● Be physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
● Be reliable, punctual and flexible
● Be comfortable working as part of a team
● Have a respectful, caring and professional manner
● Understand that confidentiality is an absolute must
● Be willing to participate in the on-call rota, including evenings and weekends
Hours and rates of pay will be discussed at interview.
If you are compassionate, dependable and take pride in providing a high standard of service, we would be pleased to hear from you. This is mainly a Huntly based job.
