Sonja and family would like to thank everyone, family and friends who attended the funeral of Brian on 27th May. We were so happy to see everyone. Thank you to Ian Esslemont and his fantastic team who made our day so effortless and stress-free with good humour and professionalism. We would also like to thank Rev. Dr. Kay Gauld for her wonderful heartwarming service, for all the stories about Brian and our family, to Jenny Stewart (organist) who sang and played our hymns. Thank you to Carol, Natalie and her team for the beautiful funeral tea at the British Legion in Keith and for the lovely flowers presented to us, to Shane for his music at the funeral tea. A big thank you to Jordan for his wonderful Piping at the graveside. To Sophie and Lotus Petal for the beautiful flower arrangements they did for Dad. Finally, to everyone who sent cards and flowers to the family during this difficult time. Donations for Keith Cancer Link amounted to £313.90.

At home on Wednesday 13th May, 2026 Michael/Mick Small. Abundantly loving husband to Rosemary, an unwaveringly supportive, protective and loving Dad to Mickey, David, Sean and James. Patient and admiring father-in-law to Sarah, Shona, Lou and Emily. Fun loving Granda Mick to his many grand and great grandchildren.

Doting and loving brother to his sisters Suzanne and Rosemary. A loved and admiring younger brother to William and Paul. Beloved son of the late Catherine and William.

Caring son-in-law, brother-in-law and inspiring and adored uncle. A resourceful friend to so many.

Friends and those touched by knowing Mick are invited to attend Moray Crematorium on Friday 5th June at 12.30pm.

Our celebration of Mick will be by invitation.

The family thank all who have sent expressions of loss, memories and reflections of how Mick impacted their lives. The generous offers of assistance and care, to us all, are greatly appreciated.

Kenny, Fiona and family want to thank everyone for the many expressions of sympathy received on the sad passing of Millie. Heartful thanks to everyone involved in Millie`s care over the years, particularly Glenisla Care Home. Sincere thanks to Ian Esslemont Funeral Directors for their professional and caring arrangements and to celebrant Rachel Donald for her comforting service. Grateful thanks to The Banff Springs Hotel for providing an excellent funeral tea and to Lotus Petal Florist for a lovely floral tribute, all of which helped the final farewell to Millie, as she wished it to be.

Sheila and the whole family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all relatives, friends, neighbours and colleagues for the many kind expressions of sympathy extended to them by way of cards, calls, messages and flowers received on the sad passing of Chay. Special thanks to the community nurses for their dedicated care and attention, to Jeff Diack for his most personal tribute, which summed up Chay perfectly, to Fiona Forrest Catering for the lovely teas, Keith Show for managing the refreshments and St Rufus Church for accommodating the service. Sincere thanks to Ian and his team at Ian Esslemont Funeral Directors for everything they did, we will be forever grateful to them. Finally, to all who paid their last respects and generously donated £3200 to Speyside Community Nurses and CRT team. We are truly overwhelmed. Chay will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
