We are a collective of passionate, skilled therapists with more than 70 years’ combined experience in acupuncture, counselling, massage, beauty, physiotherapy, hypnotherapy, nutrition, readings, aesthetics and relaxation.

Brought together by Ilfracombe Acupuncturist Allie Scott, Kin aims to support you on your path to physical and emotional wellness.

We address a wide range of conditions, fro

m straightforward relaxation to musculoskeletal issues, as well as more intricate psychological and emotional challenges. Our Kin therapists work together to ensure you always find the right person to meet your unique needs and refer both internally and externally to only the most exceptional practitioners.

Unlike most wellness clinics, Kin offers rooms to its therapists at an affordable flat rate. This means some of the best practitioners choose to work here, prioritising client care whilst maintaining the majority of their income.

Kin is a space for all. We’ve worked hard to make it a warm, welcoming and peaceful space with complementary teas and a small shop.

It’s crazy that we have no practitioner in Ilfracombe! Those in neighbouring towns are chokka block (we often refer to them when needed), yet we don’t have anyone here offering the service!

If you’re looking to relocate for work, genuinely, there can’t be a better place in the UK to do it. 🌊

We have a fun, friendly and incredibly supportive team, a beautiful space to work from, low room rents, and — most importantly — patients already waiting to see someone! 🙌

Ilfracombe is such a special place to live and work. You get the beauty and lifestyle of the coast, a fantastic local community, great schools, and that lovely balance of feeling like you’re living somewhere peaceful and beautiful while still having a thriving little town around you.

If you’ve not managed to get hold of one of their sandwiches yet - you’re missing out! The softest, saltiest focaccia laden with super healthy and delicious ingredients, all made by the wonderful Abi!! You will spot my daughter and my brother in the video and you may have met my daughter in Kin on reception. Felling super proud of everything Abi and Sam have achieved. The food is genuinely wonderful and they’re fully open from next Friday. Get down there!

It’s so overwhelming sometimes we just give up! It’s easier to sit back and watch the tele or doomscroll or just shove it to the back of your mind. But if something isn’t right, it you feel the need to change but are totally befuddled by what the social media, media and the crazy materialistic world around us tells you you need, just give us a shout. Just because we live in Devon, doesn’t mean we aren’t entitled to excellence. When we spend hard earned money on a massage or other therapy, we deserve the best from our practitioner. No, it doesn’t always work for everyone but for the large majority of my patients they will gain relief from their main complaint and see wonderful side effects like better sleep and regulated nervous system. It’s the most wonderful and powerful of treatments. And if it doesn’t work - we can refer you internally and externally to other fantastic practitioners. You’re in safe hands with us at Kin.
