✨⚠️ Benedict’s Law / Allergy Safety Guidance: DfE final guidance now published ⚠️✨

The Department for Education has now published the final statutory guidance: Allergy safety in schools.

The guidance applies to schools in England and outlines what schools must do to support pupils with allergies. This includes putting allergy safety policies in place, arranging allergy safety training for staff, identifying pupils who require Individual Healthcare Plans, and recording and learning from serious incidents and near misses.

Statutory guidance about the support that pupils with allergies must receive in schools.
