The sun decided to make an appearance, and we fully took the hint at St Olaf Care Home 💛

Residents headed outdoors to enjoy the warmer weather in their own way, from gentle walks to relaxing garden catch‑ups filled with laughter and plenty of fresh air

With birds singing, daffodils in bloom and the sunshine doing its thing, the garden quickly became the best seat in the house. Sometimes all it takes is a comfy spot, good company and a little warmth to turn an ordinary day into a really lovely one ☀️

It’s these simple, joyful moments that make life at St Olaf so special, and days like this are definitely ones to smile about

Team Airthrey Care Home were out enjoying the beautiful game with a visit to Stenhousemuir Football Club. ⚽

Residents had a brilliant time trying something different, enjoying the atmosphere and getting stuck into a fun, sociable activity together. There were smiles all round, plenty of encouragement from the sidelines and, most importantly, a lot of laughs along the way.

It was a lovely reminder that meaningful activity doesn’t need to be complicated - sometimes it’s simply about getting out, sharing an experience and making new memories together. A big thank you to Stenhousemuir FC for such a warm welcome. Well played, Team Airthrey. 👏

Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it… Our amazing colleagues are celebrating after receiving our latest Care Inspection report, and for the second year in a row, we’ve boosted our grades and reached a brilliant Grade 5 🎉

This didn’t happen by chance. It’s the result of genuine compassion, hard work, and a team that’s constantly striving to do better for the people who live here. Every improvement, every extra bit of care, every moment of teamwork, it all adds up

So here’s a massive well done to everyone at Team Grove. Your dedication shines through every day, and this result is proof that your commitment makes a real difference ✨

☕ At Auchtercrag, afternoons don’t get much better than this… ☕

There was something extra lovely in the air at Auchtercrag House Care Home as our home came together for a Dementia UK Afternoon Tea, and not just because of the cakes 🍰

Residents and colleagues gathered round the table for a relaxed afternoon filled with sweet treats, friendly chats and plenty of smiles. Teacups were refilled, stories were shared, and time slowed down just enough to enjoy being together

Events like this are what Auchtercrag is all about, creating moments of connection, warmth and community, while supporting a cause that means so much to so many 💛

A big thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special. When a care home feels like home, afternoons like these are exactly why

And what a beautiful first wish it was 💛

Here at Airthrey Care Home, wishes are all about moments that matter, and Julia’s wish took her right back to a place filled with happy memories: the golf club

Julia was welcomed like an old friend (because she is one!), spending time reminiscing, sharing treasured photographs and laughing over stories from years gone by 📸

The smiles grew even bigger when she enjoyed a gentle tour of the course in a golf cart, taking in the familiar sights, sounds and feelings that meant so much to her

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do. Memories don’t fade, they live on, and with a little care (and a touch of magic), they can be revisited 💫

A beautiful tribute to Betty. 💚

A painting by late Kynnaird House Care Home resident Betty Milne has been chosen to feature on Meallmore’s limited-edition Father’s Day whisky label.

Betty’s artwork, showing Fraserburgh’s much-loved Wine Tower, received 77% of the public vote and now features on “Drammie” - our second limited-edition Meallmore whisky bottle.

Her husband David, who still lives at Kynnaird House, was presented with the first bottle at a special celebration with family, residents and colleagues.

It’s a lovely reminder of how creativity, memories and personal stories continue to live on in our homes and communities.

Well done to everyone involved at Kynnaird House. 💚

At The Oaks Care Home, caring doesn’t stop at our front door; it’s something we love to share

Recently, we popped along to our local GP surgery with Acts of Kindness baskets, just a small but heartfelt thank‑you for everything they do for our community 🧺✨

The baskets were delivered with big smiles by our lovely colleague Stephanie, joined by our resident Gemma, making it a moment filled with connection, pride and genuine appreciation 💐

It wasn’t about the baskets themselves, but the message behind them: we see you, we appreciate you, and we’re grateful to be part of the same community.

Because sometimes, the smallest gestures can mean the most

🐶 Warning: serious levels of cuteness entered Belleaire House… 🐶

We had tails wagging (and hearts melting) when a very special guest popped in to say hello, Fergie the pup

Brought along by our colleague Chloe, Fergie made himself right at home, spreading smiles, gentle moments of connection and plenty of “awws” throughout the house ✨

From soft pats to happy chats, it was one of those visits that instantly lifts the mood, proof that four paws and a waggy tail can work absolute wonders

At Belleaire House Care Home, it’s moments like these that make our days extra special, bringing comfort, companionship and lots of joy into the home
