Complex care requires more than staffing.

It requires structure, consistency, experience, and trust.

When someone has complex care needs, the right support cannot be built around availability alone. It has to be built around the person, their risks, their routines, their communication needs, their family, and the professionals involved in their care.

At Sycamore Care, we provide specialist complex care support across Suffolk and Essex for individuals who require enhanced levels of care, safeguarding, behavioural support, and structured day-to-day assistance.

Our teams support people living with a wide range of complex needs, including neurological conditions, brain and spinal injuries, mental health support needs, autism, learning disabilities, palliative care, and high dependency care packages.

But the real difference comes from how that care is delivered.

- Clear care planning.
- Experienced support teams.
- Strong communication.
- Reliable supervision.
- Consistent relationships.
- Professional standards.

Because complex care is not just about covering hours.

It is about creating stability, protecting dignity, and helping people feel safe, understood, and supported every day.

his Dementia Action Week, we’re wearing blue for every person and family affected by dementia. 💙

A dementia journey can feel overwhelming, but no family should feel they are facing it alone.

At Sycamore Care, we see how much the small things matter: a familiar routine, a calm voice, a trusted carer, a favourite meal, a gentle reminder, or simply someone taking the time to listen.

If someone you love is becoming increasingly forgetful, confused, withdrawn, or finding daily tasks harder, it may be time to start a kind conversation and encourage them to speak with their GP.

And if your family needs support at home, Sycamore Care is here to help with compassionate care that protects dignity, independence and comfort.

Let’s use Dementia Action Week to be more aware, more patient and more supportive.
