Both ladies have been absolutely amazing and an absolute godsend as we were trying to support Ann, a single lady, to stay at home with her dementia diagnosis. Caring, compassionate and both excellent communicators. I really couldn't have managed without them. Sara S, in particular, has gone above and beyond to support Ann in all aspect of her life - taking her to appointments, sorting out her animals, making sure she was eating properly and being a great companion to Ann along the way. What do lost playing cards, home-cooked meals, and Friday fish & chips have in common? 🐟

They’re the secret ingredients to a beautiful 3-year friendship. Our Helper, Zoe, shared this lovely update about her weekly routine with Sheila and Rayleigh:

"Mondays were for home-cooked meals, Wednesdays for card games... often having to retrieve the cards that somehow always disappeared down the side of the chair and Fridays simply had to include fish and chips. We chatted about our families as though we'd known each other forever."

Now, at 90 years young, Sheila and Rayleigh are moving into a care homebut the story doesn't end there! Zoe is continuing her visits:

"I look forward to more laughter, conversations and maybe creating a new tradition or two." ✨
