It's Thank you Thursday! 💙

We would like to share our fantastic supporters this month:

🎶 Jess Grant Celebration trustees joined us for our Zest Music Day. Since 2001 they have awarded more than £11,500 to support music therapy sessions for our young adults.

🌅 Helen and Felicity organised a Summer Solstice Sunrise Pilates session in memory of Collette Green and Jack Carpenter. They raised a fantastic £1,230 - well done!

🔨 NFU Mutual have chosen the hospice to benefit from a generous award of £7,899 towards refurbishment works planned for our Inpatient Unit at Foxhall Road.

🎨 Ann and Maggie organised an art sale selling original works by local artist May Nesbit - NizzybitsART. Well done to everyone who supported the event, raising an incredible £2,498.77.

🌸 Hadleigh and District Flower Club raised an excellent £1,000 from their charity lunches in memory of one of the club’s members, Lorna Hill.

Thank you to representatives from Barnes Construction who recently took on a 72 holes in one day, golf challenge to raise funds for the hospice. ⛳

That’s four full rounds, over 20 miles of walking, and countless swings in a single day! 🌟

Their efforts raised a fantastic £1,600 to support our services. 🩵

A much-loved daily visitor, Lloyd pops to see us for a few well-earned belly rubs.

A purrrrfect gentleman, he's become a popular member of our hospice community 🩵

“St Elizabeth Hospice gave Tina and me great care and comfort, reassuring us that she would not be in pain during a very distressing time." 🩵

Alan's wife Tina received support from our team at Beccles Hospital, until her death in June 2022.

Since then, Alan's choir group, The Rogues Shanty Chorus, have hosted a number of concerts which have raised over £9,000 for the hospice. 🎶👏

Did you know we offer seasonal volunteering opportunities? This means short term commitments and a streamlined application process. 🩵

We need volunteers for the following locations:
Acle, Caister, Great Yarmouth, Pakefield & Gorleston . 📍

We also need help sorting donations, serving customers and maintaining stock levels at:
Nacton Road (Ipswich) & Hadleigh 📍
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday - PM, Tuesday - AM & Saturday - all day. 🕛

Our team at Beccles Hospital, along with East Coast Community Healthcare CIC staff, organised a themed afternoon tea for a patient who loves Highland cows! 🐮🧁

The patient and her family were able to enjoy personalised cupcakes and party food, while making wonderful memories together 🩵

Thank you to everybody who helped to organise this special day

Jade's mum Vikki received support from our partnership with East Coast Community Healthcare (ECCH), at Beccles Hospital, until her death in 2025, aged 58.
