🩵 We’re St Elizabeth Hospice. And we’re proud to launch our new brand 🩵

We may look and feel a little different, but we’re still here for you. Here to give outstanding, compassionate care to our local community. Here for the difficult days and the precious memories. Here when you need us, with a refreshed energy. With you when it matters most.

It’s been over a decade since we last reviewed our brand, and a lot has changed.

Our services have expanded and our ambitions have grown – including exciting plans to build an additional hospice facility in Gorleston.

We want everything we do – from our care and support, to our fundraising, shops and online presence – to feel connected and true to our values.

Our rebrand is more than a new look. We've worked closely with our community, staff, volunteers, patients and families to create an identity that truly reflects who we are today and where we're heading next. The work has been delivered thoughtfully, sustainably, and with a focus on the people and families we support.

It’s Great Big Green Week! 🌍

We were delighted to welcome John Grose to the hospice today, giving our staff and volunteers the chance to test drive electric and hybrid vehicles 🚗⚡

We also enjoyed a brilliant presentation from Clearvue.Business, sharing practical ways we can reduce our carbon emissions and become more energy efficient.

This week, we celebrated Volunteers Week by hosting our annual supporter & volunteer awards event in Ipswich. 🎉

We were excited to welcome our dedicated volunteers to this special event, where we were able to recognise the fantastic efforts supporters of the hospice make every day.

A range of achievements were celebrated during the evening, including volunteers who given their time for over 30 years!

We'd like to end Volunteers Week with one more huge thank you to our amazing volunteers, like Gemma, who do so much to help the hospice. 👏🤩

“I always say that with volunteering, you get back so much more than you put in. There is such warmth and enjoyment throughout the hospice, and you feel rewarded knowing you are making a real difference in your local community."

Gemma has supported the hospice for several years as a volunteer and fundraiser. Her volunteering became especially meaningful after her Dad, Terry, was cared for by the hospice before his death in 2025. 💜

📢 On a trial basis, our retail shop on Dogs Head Street, Ipswich will be opening on Sundays, 10am-4pm. ⌚

Please feel free to visit, you never know what you might find! 🛒

We have over 30 shops and retail centres in East Suffolk and South Norfolk. They are managed by a small team of staff but rely on a huge workforce of valued and dedicated volunteers.

This week is Volunteers Week, and we couldn't be more grateful for everything that our fantastic volunteers do to support the hospice 💜 Like Peter:

“Volunteering for St Elizabeth Hospice is like being part of a family, as everyone is so friendly and welcoming. It is a real community organisation and volunteering here only reinforces that for me."

Peter was inspired to volunteer with us after witnessing the compassionate care that was given to his wife Sally, in 2022. 💜 Since then, Peter has volunteered his time in lots of ways - from utilising his skills in the workshop 🛠️ to helping out at hospice events. 👏
