💚 Truth Bomb 💚

Summer holidays are quiet for my business-they always have been, with many of my lovely clients enjoying their well deserved summer holidays and time off with kids and people being busier with life.

This summer i am choosing not to stress about this. I know it things will pick up again come September and after losing my dad last August i feel that i could benefit from doing more things that soothe my soul and make my heart sing. And i am releasing my own flawed belief that being busy means you have ‘won’ at life.

This is why i have given myself permission to take a Friday off sometimes, to get the train somewhere new, to be more spontaneous and spend more time outdoors and to spend time on my own self-development and building more resilience so i can deal with life with less anxiety going forward.

So yes, i have realised that it is ok to work on myself and my own happiness and this is my plan for this quieter period coming up.

Don’t worry i am still available for bookings but am just letting go of the stress and guilt about not being ‘busy’ this summer. just going to roll with it 😀💚

There are times when words are useful.

And there are times when we are tired of explaining, fixing, analysing and talking everything through.

Reflexology offers a different kind of support. Quiet. Grounded. Gentle. Present.

It is not about having the perfect words for how you feel.
It is not about needing to explain why you are tired.
It is not about arriving with a neat little summary of your stress.

Sometimes the body responds to being met with calm, steady care.

And sometimes that is enough for the day. 💜

I would like to introduce you to our lovely tuxedo lady Meely. She is an old girl aged 17 and she has started to miss her hooman when she is doing reflexology with her lovely clients. Meely has started to howl outside the treatment room to let us know she is there and unfortunately there is nothing i can do about it 😩

Please be reassured that she is well fed, happy, gets lots of cuddles and is definitely not the starving attention deprived animal she makes herself out to be.
