Unite Yoga

Unite Yoga Group Yoga classes for Beginners & Improvers, Yoga Nidra, Chair Yoga, Yin Yoga and 1:1 sessions I remain forever a student and love learning.

Hi, I'm Sarah and I offer a whole range of in-person and online Yoga classes. I know all too well, how the pace of modern life can impact our health and wellbeing. That’s why I am so passionate about creating space and opportunity within my classes for you to slow down and connect back to yourself… physically, mentally and spiritually. I spent many years teaching in secondary schools, training har

d and running a Taekwon-Do club with my husband, until, in my late-thirties I realised I was living in an unsustainable way. My big wake up call was being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2013. Like many people, the majority of whom are women, I found myself with an autoimmune disease diagnosis. This caused me to look at how I was living and make some changes. I had already discovered yoga and meditation, and these were a great help to me in coming to terms with my diagnosis and implementing positive lifestyle changes. Gradually, I took steps towards living a more nourishing and present lifestyle. Fortunately, I have remained fit and well and hope to maintain this. In 2015, after having my son, I resigned from teaching in schools and re-trained to teach yoga. I have been teaching weekly yoga classes in Kinver and Stourton, near Stourbridge, ever since. I have completed further trainings in Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Children’s Yoga, Yoga for Perimenopause and Chair Yoga, amongst other things, and I am always reading and developing my own knowledge for everyone that comes to my classes. I have a special interest in how yoga can be of benefit to women as they move through all life stages and I know that it will help me and many others to stay grounded, connected and more mindful. I look forward to sharing yoga with you and I would love to see you at a class soon.

Join Sarah, a specialist Yoga for Cancer teacher, for this 4-week introduction to yoga for breast cancer.

This class is suitable for those having treatment or who are in recovery from cancer.

These small, 75-minute group sessions include a 60-minute yoga session, followed by the chance to have a hot drink and chat with other participants.

The yoga will be a gentle, body-aware practice that offers plenty of opportunity to rest whenever needed, explore movement without changing position too often, and avoid positions that might be uncomfortable for those with a tender operation site or medical device.

Yoga can help with
• Fatigue
• Regaining movement and strength
• Preventing and alleviating lymphoedema
• Managing stress and anxiety
• Body confidence

Our venue is the beautiful in Kinver, fully equipped with all the props we need for a nourishing, supported session.

Please book via my website x

In July, I completed a holistic yoga for cancer course, and I’m now a specialist yoga for cancer teacher. With 1 in 2 people now likely to receive a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime, this felt like a positive next step to take.

I am looking forward to being able to safely and effectively share the many benefits of yoga with people who have a cancer diagnosis, whether that’s in one of my existing classes, a specialist yoga for cancer class, or a 1:1 session.

Yoga can help with
• Fatigue
• Regaining movement and strength
• Preventing and alleviating lymphoedema
• Managing stress and anxiety
• Body confidence

Keep an eye on my social media accounts for details of a new yoga for cancer class coming up in October!

Oops, I forgot to post anything on social media for a couple of weeks.
Never mind, I have been busy decorating at home, dealing with my son’s transition to secondary school, and getting back into the swing of routine and classes. Sometimes, life gets busy and that’s OK.

So, if September started with a bang for you too and you missed the first classes of my new term, know that it’s not too late to join one of my classes or work with me in September. You will always find a warm welcome.

This picture is from one of my 1:1 sessions yesterday. Content Coach - Making content simple took this towards the end of the session. It has given me a gentle nudge to get posting again. If you haven’t checked out Sarah’s page and workshops head over and take a look. She’s a master at creating content opportunities.

Happy September everyone 💜

Sunday morning done right ✅

Nearly 90 people joined me for at Brinton Park in Kidderminster this morning 💚

Today is the last day of Love Parks week 2026, a campaign by

Had a lovely chat with some of the volunteer litter pickers who were picking the park. Huge thanks to them for keeping the park looking tidy.

Parks have huge benefits for everyone that enjoys them. Keep Britain Tidy describes 3 of the ways parks benefit us all:

🌳For your personal wellbeing: Parks are a sanctuary for both your physical and mental wellbeing. Spending time in them offers opportunities for exercise, social connection and stress reduction through a simple dose of nature.
🌳 For our communities: Parks are the heart of our communities, fostering social cohesion and giving everyone a place to come together. They also stimulate local businesses and economies by hosting a wide range of recreational and cultural activities.
🌳 For the planet: Parks are powerful tools in the fight against climate change. They help to sequester carbon, reduce the ‘urban heat island effect’ by providing natural shade, lower flood risks by absorbing rainwater and support biodiversity by creating essential habitats and wildlife corridors.
