Is your child preparing to start university or college this autumn?
If they are under 25 and starting undergraduate higher education or residential further education for the first time this autumn, they may be eligible for a free MenB vaccination.
The MenB vaccine helps to protect against meningococcal group B bacteria that can cause serious illnesses, including meningitis and sepsis.
Full protection requires two doses of the vaccine; a single dose does not provide the same level of protection.
Please contact the Vaccination Team on 01874 442510 to arrange an appointment.
When attending, please remind your child to bring:
- Their university offer (e-mail)
- Some form of ID.
