Sunday thoughts… 🤍🦋
This week has reminded me that grief doesn’t only come from losing someone through death. Sometimes it comes from losing someone who is still here, but no longer part of your life.
That kind of loss can leave you questioning yourself, replaying memories and wondering what you could have done differently.
But healing has taught me that not every ending needs an explanation. Sometimes we have to accept that people come into our lives for a season, and while we can’t control whether they stay, we can choose how we move forward.
That’s why this quote spoke to me today.
Butterflies can’t see their own wings, but everyone still sees their beauty.
When we’re hurting, it’s easy to lose sight of our own worth. We forget the kindness we’ve shown, the love we’ve given, and the strength we’ve built.
So today’s reminder is as much for me as it is for anyone reading this: be gentle with yourself. Trust that your value isn’t determined by who chooses to stay or leave.
Wishing you all a peaceful Sunday. Take care of your mind, your body, and your soul. 🤍
