Sunday thoughts… 🤍🦋

This week has reminded me that grief doesn’t only come from losing someone through death. Sometimes it comes from losing someone who is still here, but no longer part of your life.

That kind of loss can leave you questioning yourself, replaying memories and wondering what you could have done differently.

But healing has taught me that not every ending needs an explanation. Sometimes we have to accept that people come into our lives for a season, and while we can’t control whether they stay, we can choose how we move forward.

That’s why this quote spoke to me today.

Butterflies can’t see their own wings, but everyone still sees their beauty.

When we’re hurting, it’s easy to lose sight of our own worth. We forget the kindness we’ve shown, the love we’ve given, and the strength we’ve built.

So today’s reminder is as much for me as it is for anyone reading this: be gentle with yourself. Trust that your value isn’t determined by who chooses to stay or leave.

Wishing you all a peaceful Sunday. Take care of your mind, your body, and your soul. 🤍

Six weeks. 💛

These are just a few of the messages I’ve received from the incredible women who took part in my last Embody Collective.

Every single person arrived with different goals, different worries and different life experiences. Some were nervous about stepping into a gym, some wanted to feel stronger, some wanted more confidence, and others simply wanted to prioritise themselves again.

Over six weeks, I watched them encourage one another, celebrate every win (big and small), and realise they’re capable of so much more than they believed.

Reading messages like these reminds me exactly why I do what I do. It’s never just about lifting weights. It’s about building confidence, resilience, creating healthy habits, and proving to yourself that you’re capable of more than you think.

To everyone who trusted me with your journey—thank you. I’m so proud of every single one of you. 🤍

If you’ve been thinking about making a change, this is your reminder that you don’t have to do it alone.

✨ Whether you’re interested in joining the next Embody Collective, looking for 1:1 personal training, or want the flexibility of online coaching, I’d love to help.

Send me a DM with the word START, and let’s chat about which option is right for you. 💛

Before you compare your progress to someone else’s, ask yourself:

Do we have the same responsibilities?
The same support network?
The same income?
The same energy?
The same stress?

If the answer is no…

Then why are you expecting your journey to look the same?

I didn’t have 90 minutes to train today.

I had 40 minutes while my children were at their class.

So I trained for 40 minutes.

That’s what consistency actually looks like.

Not waiting for the perfect time.
Making the most of the time you have.

So if all you managed today was 30 minutes… or even 10… be proud of yourself. You’re doing the best you can with the life you have.

Sometimes things don’t work out, not because you failed, but because they’re no longer aligned with where you’re meant to be.

The opportunity you didn’t get.
The relationship that ended.
The plans that fell apart.
The people who walked away.

It’s painful in the moment, but not every closed door is a loss. Sometimes it’s protection. Sometimes it’s redirection. And sometimes it’s making room for something that will value you, challenge you, and meet you where you are.

You don’t have to chase what’s not choosing you.

Trust that what’s meant for you won’t require you to shrink yourself, question your worth, or settle for less than you deserve.

Keep growing. Keep showing up. Your path isn’t over just because this chapter ended.

Sometimes things don’t work out because something better is waiting.

✨ Steal my flow. 🧘‍♀️

This was the sequence we explored tonight at Moonbeam Yoga.

A playful, twisty flow that invited us to move with curiosity rather than expectation. There were wobbles, there were moments of finding balance, and moments of losing it too—but every one of them offered something to notice.

Yoga isn’t about mastering the pose. It’s about cultivating awareness, meeting yourself exactly where you are, and staying present through whatever arises, both on and off the mat.

Tonight, we simply practised… and had a lot of fun doing it. 💛

Some of my Embody ladies graduated last night… and I wasn’t expecting to feel quite so emotional. 🥹🤍

Over the last six weeks I’ve watched women walk into the gym unsure of themselves, nervous to pick up a weight, convinced they “weren’t gym people.”

Now?

They’re lifting weights they never imagined they could.
They’re asking questions.
They’re backing themselves.
They’re spotting each other.
They’ve built friendships that now exist outside the gym.
And yes… there are even little baby biceps and triceps starting to appear. 💪🥹

Some of them are continuing their journey with me, and some are flying the nest to continue on their own.

Because Embody was never about creating women who needed me forever.

It was about creating women who believed they belonged.

Who could walk into a gym with confidence.

Who knew what they were doing.

Who trusted their bodies.

Watching some of my little fledglings leave the nest is bittersweet… but if I’ve given them the confidence to keep showing up for themselves long after these six weeks, then I’ve done exactly what I set out to do.

I’m so incredibly proud of every single one of you.

Now go and own it. 🤍🧡

Today’s yoga flow was all about exploring, playing, and not taking ourselves too seriously. There were plenty of laughs, a few wobbles, and somehow we managed to get people floating in Lotus! (No Photoshop involved… honest. 😉)

I absolutely love classes like this because they remind us that yoga isn’t about being perfect—it’s about trying something new, having a giggle, and surprising yourself with what your body can do.

Same time next week… we’ll be working on flying. 🚀🧘‍♀️

Sometimes the body doesn’t need pushing. It just needs listening.

Today’s flow wasn’t about perfect poses or ticking off a workout. It was about creating space. Space to breathe. Space to move. Space to quiet the constant chatter that can fill our minds.

Yoga has a way of bringing us back to ourselves. Each breath, each movement, each pause is an invitation to let go of what isn’t serving us, even if only for a moment.

When the mind is noisy, the body often follows. But when we slow down and connect with our breath, we remind our nervous system that it’s safe to soften.

You don’t have to earn your rest.
You don’t have to have it all figured out.
Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is simply be present.

Take a breath. Unclench your jaw. Drop your shoulders. Give yourself permission to come home to yourself.
