It was such a pleasure to host the Association of Carers fish & chip lunch in our home last Friday 🀝.

These wonderful people are a joy to be around and the efforts they go to for other people is outstanding ❀.

The catering team at Parris Lawn Care Home served the most delicious of meals, whilst Sharon and Jesse took on the roles of the waiting team... Great job all round πŸ‘.

Round 2 of the Chef's Table Parris Lawn Care Home πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³!

After our resident's successful 1st visit to the Chef's Table last month, we were very excited to involve them once again in this tasty initiative. Neil and his team of Chef's are taking great pride in this, and they are enjoying the camaraderie and interactions that come with it.

We kicked off light with a smoked salmon and brie ciabatta, served with fennel and garlic mayonnaise.

For main, we moved onto pork and leek sausages, served with pomme puree, toasted fennel carrots and honey courgettes.

And to finish the feast, a raspberry pannacotta, served with raspberry coulis ripple ice cream and a pink shortbread baton.

The residents absolutely loved their time with Neil, waxed lyrical about his food and service, and even asked for a tour of the kitchen after to which we happily obliged 😁.

An all-round fun afternoon was had 🫢!

A big thank you to all those who spent their hard-earned cash at our Tombola. Your donations are going to a great cause and we really appreciate it πŸ™.

The residents made it a special day as they always do. All getting involved in the Forget me Not arts and crafts session with some beautiful resultsπŸ‘©β€πŸŽ¨.

And a big thanks to Anna Whales who entertained us all with her wonderful live music performance. You really got us bopping and moving πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ€πŸ’ƒ.

Mrs. J, 88 years young and still as beautiful and elegant as ever. You and your family are well loved at Parris Lawn 🫢!

Next up, Mr. M requested a fruit cake. Nice and easy you may say but he was talking of a cake MADE from fruit 🍏🍐! As you can see, Neil and his dedicated team of chefs came up with the goods once again and delivered a masterpiece 🀩!

Happy Birthday to the both of you and we hope you enjoyed your days πŸŽ‚.
