Many complementary therapists love the work they already do.

They simply feel there's another piece they're looking for.

This November, our Practitioner Training returns to Ashlin Farm Barns in Lincolnshire. We gather on the evening of Monday 9th November, then spend three practical days training together.

For those few days, your focus can simply be on learning. A beautiful barn to stay in, food cooked and shared around one table, the swim spa under the evening sky, and cake, always cake. You give and receive every treatment, so the learning settles into your body as well as your mind.

Reflexologists, Reiki practitioners, massage therapists, osteopaths, acupuncturists and counsellors have all trained with us. So have people with no therapy background at all.

Training is £695, with four nights' accommodation, dinner and breakfast for £295. A small group of eight, so there is room for you.

You'll find all the details here, to explore in your own time:

Do I need to believe in energy?

No. You don't need to believe anything in particular for Gentle Release to help.

The word "energy" might put some people off. You may think you have to sign up to a whole way of seeing the world before you're allowed in.

You don't. Gentle Release isn't about channelling anything from outside you, and there's no ritual to take on. It draws on Traditional Chinese Medicine, where it's believed energy, or Qi, moves around the body. Sometimes things get a little stuck and the Qi doesn't flow as well, and we might feel tired, or lacking in energy or motivation. Gentle Release helps the body clear the stagnation and tension so that the energy flows with more ease, and many people feel brighter and lighter.

So you are welcome exactly as you are. With all your curiosity, and any of your doubts. The doubts are welcome too.

Some of us feel the world more strongly.

If you are highly sensitive, or you or your child are neurodivergent, an ordinary treatment room can be a lot. The lighting. The scents. The sounds and textures. And the not-quite-knowing what is going to happen.

Gentle Release can be shaped around you.

The lighting softer, or brighter, or just the daylight. The room kept scent-free. Quiet music, gentle background sound, or complete silence, and your own if that helps. Blankets and fabrics that feel right, including a weighted one. A familiar object or a fidget tool, whatever helps you settle.

The touch is on your terms too. Light, or no direct touch at all, with a clear signal agreed beforehand for how the session will end, so nothing comes as a surprise.

Above all, it is a space without judgement. You are met exactly as you are, and together we find what helps you feel most at ease.

The people who choose to train in Gentle Release are often already therapists. Thoughtful. Sensitive. Intuitive. Quietly brilliant at what they do.

Somewhere along the way they've started to feel that the way they were taught to work no longer feels quite right. Not because it doesn't help, but because carrying the responsibility of making change happen can become exhausting. Constantly searching for the next technique, the next protocol, the next thing to fix, begins to pull you away from the thing that made you a good therapist in the first place.

Gentle Release offers a different way.

It invites you to slow down, to listen, and to trust what your hands are noticing.

Because the practitioners who create the deepest change are rarely the ones trying the hardest. They're the ones who know how to be fully present, who trust the body's own wisdom, and who understand that sometimes less really is more.

The Gentle Release Qualification runs live on Zoom this October, Monday 5th to Friday 9th, 9.30am to 2.30pm each day. £595.

Throughout the week you'll work with the abdomen, the cranial system, the endocrine and lymphatic systems, and an introduction to the vagus nerve. You'll learn how points relate to organs, the emotional patterns often associated with them, and how to respond with confidence and quiet curiosity.

There is a framework, and you'll leave with techniques you can use straight away. But for many people, that isn't the biggest change.

The biggest shift is learning to trust yourself. To stop second-guessing what you're feeling, and to realise your intuition was never missing. It simply needed space to be heard.

And whilst you're learning to offer this work to others, you'll receive it too. Across the week you'll give and receive seven full Gentle Release treatments, experiencing the work from both sides of the couch. Often the part people least expect, and the part they remember most.

People often arrive expecting to learn a new modality.

They leave remembering something they already had.

Their own intuition.

There are things you never need to do here.

You don't need to explain everything.
You don't need to hold it all together.
You don't need to believe anything in particular.
You don't need to push through.
You don't need the right words.
You don't need to apologise for your emotions.
You don't need to pretend you are fine.
You don't need to know what comes next.

You are welcome exactly as you are. 🤍

The danger has passed. So why won't your body believe it?

You know the hard thing is over. The deadline passed. The difficult conversation happened. That stretch of months eased a while ago.

And yet the body hasn't caught up. Sleep is still light. The chest still feels tight. Somewhere underneath, you are still braced.

This isn't a fault. It's your body doing exactly what it was built to do. When it has been on alert for a long time, it keeps the alarm running a while longer, just in case. You could call it stubborn. I think it's closer to loyalty.

The thing is, a body rarely talks itself down. It settles when it is somewhere calm, near someone calm, with nothing being asked of it. That is most of what happens in a Gentle Release session. Nothing is pushed. The body is simply given enough safety to start believing that the danger really has passed.

If yours has been slow to come off alert, there's more about the vagus nerve work here: www.gentlereleasetherapy.com/vagusnerve

Offer ends Tuesday 14th July!

Many complementary therapists don't want a completely new direction.

They simply feel there's another piece they're looking for.

Until tomorrow (Tuesday) Our self-paced Introduction to Gentle Release Therapy is £45 instead of £75.

We've had reflexologists, Reiki practitioners, massage therapists, osteopaths, acupuncturists, counsellors and many other complementary therapists come through the Gentle Release Practitioner Training.

They already loved the work they were doing. Gentle Release Therapy simply gave them another gentle way to support the people who came to them.

Many also tell us that learning Gentle Release has supported them too. It has deepened their intuition, increased their confidence, and introduced them to a wonderfully supportive practitioner community.

If you've been curious about Gentle Release Therapy but aren't ready to commit to practitioner training, this Introduction gives you the opportunity to experience it for yourself, in your own time.

And if you decide to go on to complete the Practitioner Training within the following 12 months, we'll deduct the £45 from your training fee.

No pressure. No deadline beyond the offer itself. Just a gentle invitation to explore whether Gentle Release Therapy feels like the piece you've been looking for.

You're allowed to go slow.

You don't have to be ready yet.
You don't have to know quite what you're looking for.
You don't have to have tried everything else first.

There's no right pace here.
No version of you that needs to be further along before you begin.

You can come tired.
You can come unsure.
You can come exactly as you are.

The body doesn't respond to being hurried.
It responds to feeling safe.

So take your time.
The doorway stays open. 🤍
