A huge congratulations to Mia, our dedicated Senior Carer, for being named Employee of the Month for May.

Mia plays an incredibly important role within our home and works tirelessly to ensure our residents receive the highest standard of care and support each and every day. Her kindness, commitment, and professionalism make a real difference to the lives of residents, families, and colleagues alike.

For world environment day we had an amazing afternoon of gardening and bird feeding with the students of The Belvedere Preparatory School 🐝🐦🌻

Whilst a group of students helped plant seeds for the wildlife to enjoy, Another group made a start of weeding and planting new seeds in our raised boxes…. Which of course, we have dedicated to them 💜

The students will be making regular visits to us over the summer weeks, to help maintain and plant more flowers in our beautiful gardens 🌺🌹🌸🌷🌻🌼

And of course, to feed the wildlife and the family of squirrels that also share our gardens 🐿️

We bid a fond farewell to Brian, a very much loved and cherished resident, as he began his new adventure in sunny Blackpool ☀️

We surprised him with an amazing solo performance from Su Grainger from the Liverpool famous all female chorus group Singing Our Socks Off, as you can see he was over the moon 🌙

There were streamers and balloons flying all over the place 🎈🎈🎈

Brian, we will never forget you, you are a true gentleman, and the happiest of souls! 💜

Keep dancing and smiling sir 🕺😁

Thank you to both our amazing chefs, Jordan & Anthony, and their fantastic team for putting on such a delicious spread for all to enjoy 🧑‍🍳👨‍🍳

A huge thank you also goes to Singing Our Socks Off for sharing the afternoon with us and filling our home with musical memories 🎤🎶

We also remembered friends and residents who are dearly missed and will forever be in our hearts 💜🌹🌷

Saturday was our Easter Egg hunt and thankfully Storm Dave held off for us 💨 and as you can see the weather was glorious ☀️

Well done to those who found the hidden plushies and filled their bags with all those found eggs 🐰🐣

Sunday was a day of family time, relaxation and of course, the giving of gifts…. Well, chocolate egg’s mainly 🥚
