We’re incredibly proud to celebrate Farida Laeeq on receiving a British Empire Medal (BEM) in The King’s Birthday Honours. 💙
As our Care Coordinator for Asylum Seekers, Refugees and Global Ethnic Majority Communities, Farida has made a huge difference to people’s lives across Liverpool. Drawing on her own lived experience, she brings empathy and understanding to everything she does.
Over the past four years, she’s helped develop vital services that improve access to healthcare and support, including a dedicated health assessment clinic and an award-winning social prescribing programme.
Farida supports more than 1,100 people each year, helping individuals and families navigate healthcare and build connections in their communities.
We’re so proud to have her on our team, a truly well-deserved recognition 👏
