💙 Know Your Numbers Week is underway!

Our team are at Liverpool Central Station today alongside Central Liverpool PCN and Smokefree Liverpool , supporting people to check their blood pressure and learn more about their health.

Come and see us if you're passing through! 👋 Throughout the week, we'll also be visiting other locations across Liverpool, making it easier for people to know their numbers and take positive steps towards better health. 🙌

We had a wonderful time at our RAAS Gardening Group Picnic at NT Speke Hall ☀️💙

The day brought people together to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Speke Hall, take part in activities, connect with local organisations and spend quality time with family and friends.

A huge thank you to Arriva UK Bus for supporting travel to and from the event, Migrant Help for providing vouchers, and for hosting us and helping make the day such a success. We'd also like to thank Talking English CIC and Sola Arts for their fantastic contributions throughout the day.

A special thank you to Elise Rose Photography for capturing so many lovely moments and helping us share the story of the day.

From asylum seeker to passing his final UK dental licensing examination. 💙

When Hussni arrived in Liverpool after fleeing conflict in Sudan, he faced the challenge of rebuilding his life from scratch. Through volunteering, determination, and the support of Brownlow Health's Refugee and Asylum Seeker Clinic, he found a renewed sense of purpose and worked tirelessly towards returning to dentistry.

His story is a powerful example of resilience, perseverance, and the impact of community support.

A fantastic week working with our neighbouring PCNs to support the Live Well Bus and encourage more women to attend cervical screening. 💙

From returning to Myrtle Street with Central Liverpool PCN to supporting Picton PCN at Sefton Park alongside Childwall & Wavertree Primary Care Network , it was great to see communities coming together to make healthcare more accessible.

We loved connecting with the community, hearing positive stories from people supported by Brownlow, and seeing our "Write a Note to Your Younger Self" board fill up with inspiring messages. 💙

It's been quite a journey for this client, he has overcome many health battles and worked hard to regain his independence. Last week he moved into his own place and we are so proud of him. Supported along the way by our Harm Reduction Project, a Progression Coach and the Volunteering Team, as well as external agencies such as Brownlow Health Central.

Wishing him good luck and good health in his new home 🏠☺️
