🎉 Huge congratulations to Tegan on being named Young Volunteer of the Year at this week's Sefton Council for Voluntary Service - CVS and Volunteer Centre Sefton Awards! 🏆

We're incredibly proud of Tegan's dedication, enthusiasm, and commitment to making a difference through volunteering at Parkhaven Trust.

It was also wonderful to see a number of our volunteers receive certificates in recognition of their hard work and contribution to our services at the awards ceremony held at Bootle Town Hall. Their support helps make a positive impact every day, and we're grateful for everything they do.

An exciting opportunity has become available to join Parkhaven Trust as our new HR Business Lead.

📍 Location: Maghull, Merseyside
⏰ 28 hours per week (Permanent)
💷 Salary: £44,709 pro rata

This is a key leadership role, working closely with our CEO and Executive Team to help shape the future of our workforce, culture and organisational growth.

We're looking for an experienced, values-driven HR professional who can provide strategic and operational HR leadership, support managers across the organisation and help ensure Parkhaven remains an employer of choice.

At Parkhaven Trust, we've been supporting older and vulnerable adults across Maghull and Sefton since 1888. With services including residential care, extra care housing, dementia support and supported housing, we're proud of our strong reputation, high satisfaction levels and commitment to making a difference.

🎉🌲 We’re delighted to announce that the name of our new nursing home will be The Pines! 🌲✨

A huge thank you 💚 to everyone who submitted suggestions in our naming competition. We were overwhelmed by the number of thoughtful, creative, and inspiring ideas received 🙌.

The name The Pines was chosen because it reflects the beautiful green surroundings of our estate 🌳🍃, compliments the tree & nature-inspired theme across our services 🌿, & acknowledges the rich heritage of the site 🏡.

🏆 The winners of the competition will be contacted individually.

Thank you once again to everyone who took part and helped us reach this exciting milestone. We can't wait to welcome residents, families, and visitors to The Pines as it nears completion (We are planning to open The Pines to the individuals we care for and our colleagues in November 2026.) 💚.

📅 12 hours shift over 2 nights, worked on a rolling rota basis including some weekends.

From circadian lighting to acoustic monitoring, these digital solutions are improving wellbeing, enhancing safety, stabilising sleep patterns, and significantly reducing falls — helping to improve quality of life for the people we care for.

Our commitment to innovation is reflected in our membership of the Adult Social Care Testbed, working alongside Liverpool City Region Combined Authority Health and Life Sciences Innovation Zone, the University of Liverpool Civic Health Innovation Zone (CHI-Zone), and the National Care Forum

Together, we are driving positive change and shaping the future of adult social care.
