A little update from the studio…

I’m now fully booked for several weeks ahead, which is absolutely incredible. Thank you all for your continued support.

To help with demand, I’ve opened my diary on Wednesdays throughout June and July.

There are also a few scattered appointments available on certain days, and the boys still have availability on Friday evenings and Saturdays.

If you’ve been meaning to book in, now might be a good time before those spaces disappear too.

The Ritual is all about the details.

After the steam, hot towels, facial massage and cold towel finish, we have been completing the experience with NX1 Project rather than using moisturiser with 50 ingredients.

Crafted with natural ingredients including tallow, raw honey and essential oils, it leaves the skin feeling hydrated, nourished and refreshed without feeling heavy or greasy.

🎉 TODAY IS OUR FIRST BIRTHDAY! 🎉

One year ago today, The Soul Man Barber Studio opened its doors.

What a journey it has been.

There have been highs, lows, lessons, risks, laughter, moments of doubt and moments of absolute pride. Through it all, one thing has remained constant: the incredible support from our clients, friends and family.

A massive thank you to every single person who has sat in one of our chairs, recommended us to a friend, shared a post, left a review or simply believed in what we were trying to build.

A special mention has to go to my sidekick Sam, who has been with me almost from the very beginning. We’ve grown together, learned together and built something we’re both incredibly proud of.

We’ve seen a few people come and go over the last year, but today we have a fantastic, solid team that truly feels like family.

Myself, Sam, Luke and Ryan.

Four barbers. One vision.

To be fully booked most days, creating great haircuts, great conversations and high vibes in our beautiful studio is something I never take for granted.

A huge thank you to Michelle for the amazing birthday cake, and to Tamzin and Iona for decorating the studio this morning. You made the place look brilliant and helped make today feel really special.

Most of all, thank you to every client who has trusted us over the last year.

Maybe this studio won’t be for everybody…

And honestly, that’s okay.

We’ve built a very different kind of barbering environment here at The Soul Man Barber Studio.

Calmer.
More personal.
More focused on connection, wellbeing, and experience.

Over the years, a few barbers have joined us and quickly realised this isn’t the traditional barbershop atmosphere they expected.

But I know there’s somebody out there who’s been searching for exactly this kind of space.

A barber who wants to grow their own clientele, continue evolving within their craft, and be part of something meaningful.

Every year, we will open our doors to one graduate barber.

Not just to offer a chair… but to offer support, guidance, mentoring, and a real opportunity to grow within the industry.

Starting out in barbering can feel exciting, but also daunting once training finishes and real industry life begins.

At The Soul Man Barber Studio, we want to help bridge that gap.

This is a full year to develop confidence, strengthen your craft, build your client base, and grow within a premium experience led studio environment.

Alongside this, we are also looking for an experienced barber who wants to be part of a different kind of studio culture focused around wellbeing, flexibility, connection, and growth.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone supporting The Soul Man Barber Studio recently.

Here’s our junior Barber Sam giving his regular client Willie a restyle today and what a fantastic end result he done, Willie was delighted with his new look.

The support has been incredible. I’ve been fully booked for weeks with only the odd small space available here and there.

We do still have appointments available with our graduate barbers, all supervised by myself, so don’t worry, nobody leaves the studio without a haircut being right. Thank you to everyone helping support the boys with their ongoing learning and confidence.

Also, due to a change of plans, I’ve opened my diary this Monday and currently have spaces available from 10am onwards.

If you’ve been trying to get booked in, now’s your chance.

It was built for men who want time taken with them.
Consultation led grooming.
Advice that suits their lifestyle.
Support with hair loss.
Beard work that’s intentional.

Of course, quick haircuts have their place. But that’s not what we’re about here.
