Sometimes the first step is simply recognising that you no longer want to continue experiencing life in the same way.

In this conversation, Yocheved Levine, a hypnotherapist, NLP and mindset coach at Sissoo who works particularly with high-achieving women, speaks about reaching that point of awareness and beginning to ask what could be different.

She emphasises that there are many different therapeutic approaches and that no single modality is necessarily right for everyone.

What matters is recognising the desire for change, exploring the support available, and finding an approach that feels right for you.

For Yocheved, change begins with the willingness to take that first step.

The New Moon in Virgo invites us to look closely at the everyday choices that shape how we feel, work, rest, and care for ourselves.

Virgo energy is associated with organisation, wellbeing, routines, service, discernment, and attention to detail.

Rather than asking us to make dramatic changes, this New Moon encourages practical intentions that can be carried into daily life.

What routine would support you more consistently? Where could stronger boundaries protect your time and energy?

Is there something that needs simplifying, organising, or approaching with greater care?

This can be a useful moment to set intentions around health, movement, rest, work habits, your environment, or the way you support others without neglecting yourself.

Meaningful transformation is not always created through one big decision. Often, it begins with small choices repeated with intention.

Use this New Moon to consider what could be refined rather than replaced, and what simple change could make everyday life feel more supportive.

Virgo season, from 23 August to 22 September, brings attention to the details of everyday life and the small choices that help things feel more supportive, organised and intentional.

In astrology, Virgo is associated with discernment, practicality, wellbeing, routines, service and a thoughtful approach to improvement.

Its energy encourages us to look carefully at what is already present rather than constantly searching for something new.

What could be simplified? Which habits genuinely support you? Where might greater organisation create more ease? What deserves your consistent care and attention?

Virgo is also connected with devotion and service, reminding us that meaningful contribution often happens through steady, practical acts rather than dramatic gestures.

At its best, Virgo energy is not about perfection. It is about refinement.

It asks us to notice what is working, what could work better, and where thoughtful adjustments may create greater clarity and balance.

This season can be an invitation to tend to the details, strengthen supportive routines, and give your energy to what truly feels useful and meaningful.

One of the most common concerns people have about hypnotherapy is the fear of losing control.

Yocheved Levine, a hypnotherapist, NLP and mindset coach at Sissoo who works particularly with high-achieving women, explains that her experience of hypnotherapy is very different.

Rather than being unaware of what is happening, hypnosis as a more inwardly focused state, where external distractions soften, and attention turns towards the subconscious mind.

In this conversation, Yocheved discusses awareness, control, and why understanding what hypnotherapy actually involves can help people approach the experience with greater confidence.

Yocheved Levin is a mindset coach and hypnotherapy practitioner at Sissoo whose work supports people, particularly high-achieving women, in shifting emotional patterns, clearing emotional blockages, strengthening self-belief, building confidence and self-esteem, and reconnecting with greater clarity.

Her approach also helps clients understand the power of the mind in creating positive change.

A key part of her work is understanding how thoughts influence the way we feel, behave and respond to everyday situations.

Repeated self-talk can quietly shape emotional patterns. Thoughts such as “I’m not good enough”, “I can’t do this” or “I always get it wrong” can become so familiar that they begin to feel like facts.

Mindset coaching creates space to notice these patterns and question them.

What are you regularly telling yourself? Is that thought helping you move forward, or keeping you stuck in an old response?

Through mindset coaching and hypnotherapy, Yocheved helps people explore habitual thinking, shift perspective and develop a more supportive relationship with themselves.

The aim is not to force positivity, but to become more aware of the thoughts shaping your emotional world and create room for greater confidence, self-trust and choice.

Yocheved Levin offers a unique combination of Hypnotherapy and Mindset Coaching, with bespoke one-to-one sessions designed to help people achieve their individual goals.

Yocheved works particularly with high-achieving women who experience anxiety, overwhelm, stress, low self-esteem, or a sense of feeling stuck.

Her work focuses on helping people clear emotional blockages, build confidence and self-esteem, and understand the power of the mind in creating positive change.

She also looks beyond the presenting symptom to explore the emotional patterns and subconscious responses that may be sitting underneath.

Each session is goal-oriented, beginning with a conversation about what you would like to achieve before moving into relaxation and therapeutic work.

Yocheved supports people in clearing emotional triggers, reframing subconscious patterns and releasing stress, tension and fears, while helping them build greater confidence and self-esteem.

Her aim is for each session to end positively, leaving people feeling refreshed, energised and better able to move forward in their daily lives.

At the heart of her work is a simple intention: helping people move from surviving to thriving.

When someone comes to Yocheved Levine struggling with sleep, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm, she looks beyond the presenting symptom.

In this conversation, Yocheved, a hypnotherapist, NLP and mindset coach at Sissoo who works particularly with high-achieving women, explains that difficulty sleeping may sometimes be connected to deeper emotional or subconscious patterns rather than sleep itself.

Her Reset and Rise approach explores what may be happening underneath the surface, working with emotional triggers, subconscious responses, and the way the nervous system responds to past experiences.

For Yocheved, meaningful change begins with becoming curious about what may be driving the pattern, rather than focusing only on the symptom.

Yocheved Levin works particularly with high-achieving women who carry stress, pressure, or emotional overwhelm internally.

Through hypnotherapy, NLP, mindset coaching, and subconscious work, Yocheved supports people in becoming more aware of how they respond to difficult situations, relationships, and emotions.

In this conversation, she reflects on one of the ideas that has shaped both her personal life and her work: we may not be able to change other people or everything happening around us, but we can work with how we respond.

For Yocheved, this shift can create a greater sense of choice, responsibility, and inner empowerment.

During the luteal phase, the inner critic often becomes louder. Thoughts may feel sharper, frustrations harder to ignore, and self-doubt more convincing than usual.

But not every critical thought deserves to be believed.

There is a difference between destructive inner noise and the deeper message that may be sitting underneath it.

“I’m failing at everything” might be hiding exhaustion.

“I can’t cope with anyone” might point towards a need for more space.

“Why do I always let this happen?” might reveal a boundary that has been crossed.

“Something is wrong with me” might actually be frustration with a situation that no longer feels right.

Inner Autumn can bring greater sensitivity to what has been overlooked, tolerated, or pushed aside during other phases of the cycle.

Rather than allowing the inner critic to become the final authority, try becoming curious about what it is pointing towards.

Are you tired? Have you been giving too much? Is there a need you have ignored? Has someone crossed a boundary? Is something in your life asking to change?

The goal is not to accept every critical thought as truth, nor to dismiss everything you feel as “just hormones”.

Instead, listen beneath the criticism.

Sometimes the harshest voice contains a quieter message worth hearing: something needs care, rest, honesty, a stronger boundary, or a change in direction.

The Wild Woman is an archetype often associated with Inner Autumn, the premenstrual phase of the menstrual cycle.

The Wild Woman represents the parts of us that are fierce, instinctive, vocal, determined, unwilling to ignore what does not feel right.

Where the conditioned “good girl” may have learnt to stay quiet, agreeable, accommodating, or easy to please, the Wild Woman asks a different question:

What do I actually think, feel, and need?

She is willing to speak up, set boundaries, challenge what no longer feels acceptable, and stand firmly behind what she believes in.

Her fierceness may mean anger or conflict if necessary. Often though it appears as clarity.

A confident no. An uncomfortable truth finally spoken. A decision to stop shrinking yourself to make other people comfortable.

During Inner Autumn, you may notice that your tolerance for certain situations becomes lower and your ability to see what needs to change becomes sharper.

Rather than dismissing this as being “too sensitive” or “difficult”, you might become curious about what your reactions are revealing.

Where have you been staying quiet when you want to speak? Where are you giving too much? What boundary is asking to be strengthened?

The Wild Woman reminds us that femininity does not have to mean being endlessly agreeable or accommodating.

There is power in being bold, discerning, passionate, and willing to take up space.
