If you don’t already do this, then consider this your sign… 👀

When my hair starts looking a little worse for wear but I don’t have time for a full wash, I just wash the top section where it gets greasy and leave the rest. It takes a fraction of the time, makes my hair feel so much fresher, and gets me through until proper wash day. A little hair hack that’s saved me more times than I’d like to admit! 😂

I think it’s fair to say Pete locked in and was set on getting the job done, of course I was rooting for him the whole way 👀🤣🌱

Even when I’m running late, there’s always time to use my favourite eye patches 😂 (not an ad, I genuinely just love them).

I’d love to know, do you get dressed first or do your makeup first?🤔

This weekend I had the absolute honour of being bridesmaid for one of my best friends ❤️

It felt even more special getting to do it alongside another of my closest friends - the three of us met at medical school and are still as close all these years later.

Such a brilliant day spent with lovely people, amazing food, and a reminder of how special weddings really are. A day full of happiness 🥹

Not going to lie, I’m pretty impressed with this one, I may have missed a couple of spots (the downside of a clear tan 😅), but I I’ll definitely be giving it another go. I’ve popped the link below if you’re looking for a new fake tan.

It’s been a really busy weekend over here!

Yesterday I had the absolute honour of being a bridesmaid at my best friend’s wedding. It was such a beautiful day and I’ll probably share some photos from that tomorrow.

Needless to say, I was feeling pretty tired today! Pete was at work early this morning, and I knew if I stayed at home I’d definitely end up falling asleep on the sofa, so the only solution was to get out and about.

So me, Theo and Belle headed out on a little bike ride and decided to take a completely random route we’d never been on before and do a bit of exploring. We found little forest paths, had so much fun, and honestly it completely woke me up. I felt so much better afterwards!

One thing that made me smile today - I’ve always kept the kids clothes as they’ve grown out of them, storing them away for the younger ones to eventually wear. So ever since he was little, Theo has always ended up wearing hand-me-downs from his big brother.

Today he was wearing a top that Junior had for his 10th birthday! I can’t quite believe that was 11 years ago. Theo absolutely loves wearing his big brother’s clothes too, which makes it even sweeter.

Please tell me I’m not the only mum who keeps hand-me-downs? I love that it’s good for the planet and somehow so nostalgic all at the same time.

Hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend ❤️❤️❤️

I’m really proud to be supporting CMV Action this June for CMV Awareness Month ❤️

Did you know that CMV (cytomegalovirus) is the most common infection passed from mother to baby during pregnancy, yet so many people have never heard of it.

Congenital CMV is when a baby becomes infected before birth. It’s one of the leading causes of hearing loss in children and a major cause of childhood disability.

Many families only learn about CMV after their child has already been affected. That’s why awareness and having more conversations around CMV during pregnancy is so important.

Now, this isn’t something I’d necessarily recommend doing, but I’d like to think I’m quite a dab hand at these sorts of tasks (even if I do say so myself)👀 I can confirm that the post-job cup of tea was quite possibly the best-tasting tea I’ve ever had😂

I was scrolling through my camera roll from the last few weeks and came across these photos that my brother Sam sent me after a recent evening out together and I honestly couldn’t stop laughing!

I think we all tend to post our favourite photos online, but whenever I’m with my brothers, they somehow manage to capture me at my absolute silliest and this night was definitely no exception.

Photo one: me abandoning the heels, switching to flip flops because I was late for the train. I then absolutely sprinted to the station carrying my goodie bag like my life depended on it 😂

The others are me very seriously enjoying the incredible food and drink we had (clearly living my best life).

And the last one, I laughed my head off when I found it! We were meeting on the train, and I’d already got on before Sam. Naturally, I decided that when he boarded, the first thing he should see was me poking my head through the seats pulling the weirdest possible face. He took a photo and this was the result. 😂

So here’s the other side of our evening out - brother and sister being completely ridiculous as usual. It gave me a proper giggle, so I thought I’d share. Thanks for the pics Sam! ❤️

With the warmer weather here, I thought I’d share this product! This isn’t an ad, I’ve been this Hawaiian Tropic Mineral SPF 30 Powder for years and genuinely love how easy it makes sun protection.

Daily SPF use is one of the most important steps you can take to protect your skin. Regular use of sunscreen helps reduce the risk of skin cancer, including melanoma, while also protecting against UV-related skin damage such as premature ageing and pigmentation.

I always use a cream SPF in the morning, but a mineral SPF powder can make top-ups quick and convenient, especially when you’re on the go or wearing makeup.

DISCLAIMER :

While SPF powders are a great option for reapplying sunscreen over makeup, they work best as a supplement to - not a replacement for - a broad-spectrum sunscreen applied to bare skin. For extended sun exposure, generous regular sunscreen reapplication is essential.
