Happy to share that another baby has arrived. Felix Cillian was born in August, and his parents call him their rainbow baby.

Abbey came to us earlier this year for early pregnancy monitoring, after recurrent miscarriage the year before. We watched those early weeks with her, and then she carried on into the rest of the pregnancy.

Usually that is where it ends for us. We rarely find out how it turns out.

Abbey wrote to tell us, and asked that we pass her thanks on to the whole team. So the team knows, and it made their week.

Thank you, Abbey. For trusting us with those early weeks, and for coming back to share this.

Whatever a couple decides together, one person takes the hormonal treatment, manages the side effects and attends most appointments.

So the practical question is how many hours treatment takes out of their working week.

That’s the part we backed you on:

• Consultations are held remotely, so a first appointment doesn’t cost a day of annual leave.

• Bloods and scans are arranged at a location near, rather than requiring travel to a single clinic.

• Our team is reachable from 5am to 10pm, by phone, email or WhatsApp, including weekends and bank holidays

So a question at seven in the morning gets an answer before her working day starts, and a result on a Saturday doesn’t wait until Monday.

But accessibility of the fetlity care is only one part of the solution.

We want to see fair fertility support in the workplace for everyone affected by fertility issues and treatment: recognising appointments, physical side effects, emotional pressure and the impact treatment can have on both patients and their partners.

Fertility treatment should not force people to choose between protecting their career and building their family.

Most people don’t choose a fertility clinic because of an award.

They choose based on whether someone picks up the phone. Whether results come back the same day or after a week of waiting. Whether the dose gets adjusted when a cycle doesn’t respond the way the protocol expected.

We’ve been nominated for Best Accessible Fertility Care Provider 2026 in the UK at the Corporate Excellence Awards. That category is the one we’d have picked ourselves, because access is usually the thing that decides whether treatment continues.

Thank you to the patients who trusted us with their treatment this year.

Most fertility care is built around what’s efficient for a clinic. We built ours around what patients kept telling us was missing.

Over 10,000 people have been through our care. Their frustrations turned into decisions. A free first conversation before you pay anything. One doctor who stays with you from that call through to twelve weeks of pregnancy. Monitoring that’s adjusted to how your body responds, not a standard protocol. A full cost breakdown before you start, not after.

None of that is a slogan. It’s what happens when a clinic is shaped by the people it’s for, rather than by what’s convenient to offer.

That’s the standard we hold ourselves to. Not just for the patients who ask the loudest questions. For everyone.

We were very sorry to hear about the Ovom Care closure, and our first thought was for the patients now wondering what happens next.

There is a strange moment in IVF when the injections stop, the appointments pause and suddenly, there is nothing left for you to do.

You wait.

But that does not mean nothing is happening.

In the laboratory, your eggs and s***m are being carefully handled, fertilisation is assessed and your embryology team is watching what happens next.

And emotionally? Waiting can be difficult.

You might feel hopeful one minute and anxious the next. You might find yourself counting hours, checking your phone or wondering whether everything is going well.

There is no “right” way to feel here.

If you have questions about your IVF journey or what happens at this stage, talk to us. Book your free consultation through the link in our bio.

Ovarian reserve is one of those fertility terms that can sound much more frightening than it needs to.

Many people hear that their ovarian reserve is “low” and immediately think it means they cannot become pregnant. That is not what the term means.

Ovarian reserve is simply an estimate of how many eggs remain available in the ovaries. It is useful because it can help doctors understand how someone may respond to fertility treatment, but it is not a test of whether someone can or cannot have a baby.

It also cannot tell us the quality of every egg, whether pregnancy will happen naturally, or exactly what someone’s fertility journey will look like.

And one of the most common questions is whether ovarian reserve can be preserved or increased.

The honest answer is that the natural decline in egg numbers with age cannot currently be stopped by a supplement, special diet or lifestyle change. However, supporting your overall health, avoiding smoking and managing medical conditions can all play a role in protecting your wider reproductive health.

The most important thing is to see ovarian reserve as one piece of information, not a verdict.

If you have received an AMH result or been told your ovarian reserve is low and you are not sure what it means for you, ask us. Understanding your results is always the first step to making informed decisions.

There is so much that goes into a fertility journey beyond the appointments, scans and treatment itself.

Sometimes, you need nutritional support. Sometimes, you need help with your pelvic health. Sometimes, you simply want access to trusted services that understand what you are going through.

That is why every Plan Your Baby patient is automatically enrolled in our Rewards Programme, giving you access to exclusive discounts from selected fertility and wellbeing partners.

Because fertility care should consider the person going through it, not just the treatment they are receiving.

Anna’s review is a reminder that fertility care is experienced far beyond the treatment itself.

For her, egg freezing came with understandable concerns about OHSS. What mattered was knowing that her response was being watched closely, that decisions could change when needed, and that she had someone to turn to when questions came up.

That is what we mean when we talk about personalised care.

It is not simply choosing a protocol. It is paying attention throughout the cycle, making decisions based on the person in front of us, and making the process work as well as possible around their life.

We are incredibly grateful that Anna felt this in her care with us, and especially that she described feeling “cared for as a person, not just another patient.”

Thank you, Anna, for trusting our team and for sharing your experience so openly.
