We are hosting something brand-new at The Rise Room…🔥

Beyond Birth, a postpartum preparation workshop for mamas-to-be and couples in Cape Town 🇿🇦

So much of pregnancy prep focuses on the birth itself, yet the weeks and months that follow are where the real adjustment happens.

Beyond Birth is an afternoon to get you ready for that time!

Your speakers:
danu and are perinatal and postpartum experts who have supported women and couples through the postpartum period for decades of combined experience.

You’ll leave:

→ Knowing what to expect from your body and mind after birth

→ Feeling calmer, more prepared and better supported

We’ll close the afternoon with tea, delicious food and time to connect with other parents-to-be and incredible brands in the gardens at Rocklands.

Entrepreneurs - your energy is your edge.

Breathwork is the fastest way to amplify energy, expand focus and increase productivity in a short space of time.

When you regulate your nervous system, you unlock peak states of performance.

Shift from survival (fight/flight) into parasympathetic balance (calm/ recover) and your brain moves back online.

Cortisol drops. Oxygen delivery improves. Heart rate variability increases - which directly supports clearer thinking and better decision making.

In minutes, your state changes. And your state determines your results.

But it goes deeper.

Breathwork also gives you access to altered states of consciousness.

In these expanded states, the body releases stored stress.
The subconscious softens its grip on old stories, limiting beliefs and outdated programming.

The patterns that once protected you -but now cap your growth - can finally be rewritten.

Not through force. Through regulation.

Because your business will only expand to the level your nervous system can hold 🔥

You’re not here to numb, shrink, or power through.

You’re here to feel fully, lead wisely, and live in your fullness.

If the weight of the world has taught you to silence your emotions just to get through the day…

If your brilliance is dimmed by burnout, perfectionism, and the quiet ache of feeling unseen…

Then this is your reminder:
Your emotions are not the problem.
They are your pathway.

True power doesn’t come from holding it all together.
It comes from learning to let go — with grace, with courage, with consciousness.

This is emotional mastery.

Not about control — but about capacity.

The capacity to meet yourself with compassion, to hold complexity, to move from truth rather than reaction.

Self-development is not self-improvement.
It’s self-remembrance.

A sacred return to the woman you were before the world told you who to be 🧡

All of your fear, self doubt, anger, resentment, and grief stored in your body.

Unless felt and processed, these emotions stay lodged within the body and can eventually manifest as chronic pain and disease down the line.

But we have this barrier, this wall that blocks us from feeling.

Know what that wall is? Resistance.

If there was ever a clever enemy to ‘defeat’ resistance would be it.

But there is a gift in resistance… overcoming it gives us strength. Sometimes a strength we didn’t know we had.

So if you have been sitting there thinking, I am going to go to one of The Rise Room’s events one day… then come along!

When you experience resistance, it’s time for persistence.
