Radical social re-engineering: you may remember the UN's scathing report on the poverty and human rights violations engendered in the UK by welfare reform. Disability rights campaigner Mo Stewart has revisited the Special Rapporteur's findings to see what, if anything, has changed. Latest commentaries by CASCAIDr on the ombudsman's findings are focused on difficulties faced by unpaid carers. They also have a new legal framework briefing out, free of charge to their subscribers. It covers the contentious subject of NHS Continuing Healthcare. The co-chairs of the Timms Review into Personal Independence Payment (PIP) have published an update on their work. Three of Philip Anderson's daughters have just completed the London to Brighton cycle ride to raise funds for Muscular Dystrophy UK in his memory. Medpage have announced that they are discontinuing their current seizure movement detection products. A new range will be available shortly. And the Scottish government has published a report on the first Disabled People's Cabinet Forum.
