When hip pain only shows up on the bike, the position you ride in can be an important clue. 🚴 Here's a real-life case of a client we helped recently:
This 59-year-old long-distance cyclist was experiencing pain at the front of his hip and thigh, particularly when riding in an aero position.
Assessment showed significantly restricted hip movement, and diagnostic ultrasound identified a small cam-type bony irregularity at the hip joint.
But the scan was only one part of the picture.

If hip pain is beginning to affect your riding, a physiotherapy assessment can help identify what may be contributing to it.
