Your sunscreen might be protecting… or pretending 👀

Here’s how to check if your SPF is still good:

🧴 Check the expiry date
Most sunscreens last 2–3 years unopened.

🫙 Look for the jar symbol (PAO symbol)
That little open jar icon tells you how long the product lasts after opening.
Example: 12M = use within 12 months of opening

👃 Smell test
If it smells sour, weird, or “off” — throw it away.

🎨 Texture change
Separated, watery, grainy, or lumpy? It’s expired.

🌡️ Heat damage counts too
Left in a hot car or beach bag for days? Effectiveness can drop fast.

📅 Rule of thumb:
If you used it last summer and can’t remember opening it… it’s probably time for a new one.
