Like many others, we have been deeply saddened by the recent court case involving a former funeral director in Hull. Our hearts go out to all the families who have been affected during this incredibly difficult time.

This case is a stark reminder that the actions of one individual should never be seen as representative of the funeral profession as a whole. Every day, dedicated funeral professionals across the country work with integrity, compassion, and the utmost respect for those entrusted to their care.

This week we were invited to visit the new Aum Crematorium in Denham which is under construction, this will be the first dedicated faith crematorium to serve the Hindu, Jain & Sikh communities in the UK.

The calm surroundings and caring atmosphere will make it a truly meaningful visit. It was touching to see how thoughtfully everything has been designed to support families and loved ones in remembering and honouring those who have passed.

A big thank you to Bhav Dattani for making myself and my colleague Barbie feel so welcome and everyone at Anoopam Mission UK

The importance of choice and the value of a funeral.
We want to show families that an attended service one that is meaningful, personal and handled locally is not just an option, but a vital part of the grieving process. Whether a family chooses a traditional service or an unattended cremation, our message is clear. Their loved one deserves to be cared for in their own community by people they can trust.
