Drawing on his specialist knowledge in sports cardiology, Prof Malhotra shared his professional perspective on Christian Eriksen’s ICD and the importance of cardiac screening for athletes.

The coverage also featured Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY), highlighting the vital work of the charity in raising awareness of cardiovascular conditions in young people and the importance of early detection.

With increased capacity and the addition of advanced equipment and diagnostics, this exciting expansion strengthens our sport and exercise medicine and musculoskeletal services - all designed to enhance the patient experience. ✨

In addition to our current outpatient offering, the new space includes:

▪️Exercise physiology and cardiac testing laboratory
▪️2 ultrasound rooms
▪️2 reporting rooms
▪️VIP and patient waiting areas

✨ OrthTeam’s Shoulder and Elbow Surgeon Prof Chris Peach recently co-chaired the Advanced Shoulder Instructional Course in Singapore, an international meeting dedicated to the latest advances in shoulder surgery and arthroscopic techniques. ✨

The course brought together expert faculty from across Canada, Japan, Australia and the UK to share cutting-edge approaches to shoulder instability, recurrent dislocation and rotator cuff repair. 🌍

While in Singapore, Prof Peach also contributed to a specialist podcast discussing the diagnosis and treatment of subscapularis tears in the shoulder.

It’s fantastic to see Prof Peach collaborating with international experts to help shape the future of shoulder surgery. 👏🏼
