Part 2 of our one week post op chat with Jodie: Jodie told us how amazing her experience had been so far with Prof. Massimo Maranzano and how little pain she had felt during the early stages of recovery.

She has since sent us her two week before and afters, which we’ve added at the end of the video, and she is looking fab.

Every recovery is different, and swelling is still very normal at this stage, but her early progress is lovely to see.

Breast augmentation places implants to increase volume, improve projection, or restore fullness. Carried out under general anaesthetic through a discreet incision.

What it involves:
→ Implants placed above or below the chest muscle, discussed at consultation
→ Incision placement tailored to your anatomy
→ Recovery: most return to light activity within 1–2 weeks
→ Full recovery: 6–8 weeks

As with all surgery, results vary and there are risks. Consultation required.

What does breast augmentation recovery actually look like? The honest guide.

Week 1–2: Rest is essential. Some swelling, bruising and discomfort is normal. Light walking from day 2–3.

Week 3–4: Most return to desk-based work. Swelling begins to reduce. Driving typically resumes around week 3 (check with your surgeon).

Week 6+: Light exercise may resume - always follow your surgeon's guidance.

3–6 months: Final results typically visible. Scarring continues to fade over 12–18 months.

Recovery varies. This is a general guide only - your surgeon will give you a personalised recovery plan.
Surgery carries risks. Consultation required before any procedure.
