Paul Bamber - Director for both Prestige Nursing & Care Greater Manchester and Prestige Nursing & Care Wakefield
"Hi, I’m Paul, one of the long-suffering Directors. Along with my brother Daniel, I started the business back in 2009, so I’ve been here since day one (which probably explains the grey hairs!).
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me in the gym, on a golf course, reading a good book, following Manchester United through another season of emotional turmoil, or acting as an unpaid taxi service for my two teenage boys as I take them to various sporting events. 🚗💙💙
At home, I’m outnumbered by animals and teenagers. We have two English Setters, Moss and Bracken, who are convinced they’re lap dogs despite all available evidence to the contrary. 🐶🐶
What do I like most about working for Prestige? The people. We’ve built an amazing team over the years and it’s incredibly rewarding seeing the difference we make to clients and their families. I also enjoy working from home and have developed a particular talent for filing emails into folders before reading them… although apparently I’m not supposed to admit that!
After more than 15 years, I’m still as passionate about the business as I was when we started, and I’m incredibly proud of what the team has achieved together."
