Good morning, it's Thursday and we are in for a somewhat soggy day here at Mystical Cat central at Harts Barn Craft Centre 😪
The rain won't stop us though, we are in and open with our one-a-day coffee in hand ☕️

Yesterday we were expecting 2 deliveries bur all 3 orders arrived. Whilst there is some replacements such as incense and sage, there are A LOT of new lines. We have pictured them all and are still working on getting them out though.

We have picked some affordable teacher's gifts for the end of term, some could also be for a father's day gift or even for school friends parting ways 🎁 We like to ensure that our gifts can be used for multiple purposes if possible, and are affordable.

We have also increased our range of pet friendly wax melts 🫣 and introduced some doggy shampoo bars along with the fast selling aromatherapy, doggy rollerball "Calm the Fluff Down" 🐕

Good morning, it's Wednesday 10th June 2026. Even though the weather is a little changeable, the official summer is around the corner 🙌

Here at The Mystical Cat we have a couple of deliveries in later today 😁 so will have a busy afternoon pricing, taking pics amd moving things around to get the new stock in 🫣

One announcement ....we are planning to hold an evening local craft fayre on Wednesday 22nd July from abround 5pm to 8pm ish. We have permission to use a garden here at Harts Barn Craft Centre so the event will be outside with the Harts Barn Cookery School being saved for other things to be announced soon 😁. Crafters will need to bring their own gazebo (max size 3 x 3) and table/chairs and yes, there will be a nominal fee. If you are interested in a space please email us at [email protected] telling us a bit about what you make/sell. We will aim for limited amounts of the same products so the sooner you contact us the higher up the list you will be.

Good morning, it's Tuesday 9th June and the start of our trading week here at The Mystical Cat 🙌.

The day seems to have started quite bright although there are rumours of some wet stuff 🌦 at some point today 🤔

After having no new stock last week, we are expecting several boxes this week so watch this space for some new bits and pieces coming in. This month we have Father's Day and we do have a few things in for the special person that we know as "dad" in our lives whether from our pet children or from human children 🤗. As always we'll post pictures as the new bits arrive.

So on this Tuesday, we wish you a fabulous day whatever you doing and wherever you are and look forward to seeing 👀 you soon.

Good morning it's Sunday and the last day of our working week here at The Mystical Cat.

Yes, we are late posting as we had a lovely energy healing session this morning under our alter ego Leap Holistic Therapies. We are open now, albeit sat outside with a coffee and a light breakfast is on order 😋 from our neighbours at The Old Dairy Tearoom.

Allegedly we have a dry but overcast day ahead of us today and possibly rain will be back long after we have closed🤞and are back at home. We close around 4pm ish today and as usual we are closed tomorrow, Monday for our well earned day off and self care day 🤗

In the meantime there are a few shops open here today, Sunday. Pop down and see what we have to offer here at Harts Barn Craft Centre

Good morning, its Saturday and the start of another weekend here at The Mystical Cat 😻 . Here at Harts Barn Craft Centre it has been raining but currently the sky isn't leaking.....but some dampness is forecast today with 😕.

Not sure how everyone else is feeling, but genuinely feels like fighting through treacle today and there is t even a retrograde 🤷‍♀️ So yes, we have coffee in hand from our neighbours at the Old Dairy Tearoom please pop in and say hello if you're passing or just say hello 👋 on this post.

Lots of other businesses are open already (and some will be soon) this morning including our vast array of retail shops in addition to ours The Mystical Cat and the amazing food available at the Old Dairy Tearoom some of the other businesses we have onsite include Miscellany and Quirk Vintage and Collectables, The Troll House, Crafty Upcycling, The Lavender Stone Florist, The Forest Larder, Broadlands Pottery, and Creative Needles are also here with bookable services at Leap Holistic Therapies, Holistic Health Massage & Massage Trainer Release Holistics, Heavenly Head Massage, Bridie Thorne Hairdressing, Anna Cole Beauty and Riverwood - Artisan Bridalwear plus we have businesses where you can learn something new at Harts Barn Cookery School, Wye Creative as well as . Not to mention we have lots of local crafters who sell their wares or who do mini workshops within the businesses onsite. Good morning 👋 posting a bit later than normal today but rest assured we have been in and open since before 10am this morning 😶. We decided to sit outside at Harts Barn Craft Centre and enjoy the overcastness without rain that is the current weather so far today whilst having a cheeky teacake with our coffee ☕️ today.

It's already Friday so the first June weekend is approaching 🙌 We have been busy here at The Mystical Cat scheming, planning and sorting something that we'll share with you soon 🤪.

Good morning, it's the start of another day here at The Mystical Cat and another dampish day seems to lie ahead for us at Harts Barn Craft Centre.

In the UK, June 4th is the anniversary of British forces completing the evacuation of 300,000 troops from Dunkirk in France in 1940. To rally the morale of the country, Winston Churchill delivered his famous 'We shall fight on the beaches ... we shall never surrender....' speech to the House of Commons.

June 4th is also globally observed as the UN's International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression, a day established in 1992 to acknowledge the physical, mental, and emotional pain suffered by children worldwide.

On a lighter note, it's also National Hug Your Cat Day, the purr-fect opportunity for some snuggle time. Although depending on your feline critter's nature, hugging may not be in the cards. However, like most animals, touch is a vital part of communication - and the same goes for the claw-ful kind.

All kitten aside, if you're fur-tunate enough to have a feline friend, any attention they give you may be a blessing. Others never leave your side and cuddle often. Of course, most cats have purr-sonality in spades. (No we didn't write this 😸)

Hello from us here at The Mystical Cat 👋 it's Wednesday 3rd June and here in the a bit of a grotty weather day. That won't dampen our spirits though, we are in and open and looking forward to any visitors who pop by to see us at Harts Barn Craft Centre 😀

Yesterday we mentioned about getting specific items ordered for customers....well today we actually went a step further and had earrings made based on a customer request. The customer requested a pair of Tree of Life dangly earrings and as we are big advocates of local crafters, we asked Jackie Cox of sindencox-art to make us a pair.

She made 2 pairs, slightly different, which are pictured below but currently reserved for our customer.

For those that don't know Jackie, she is a local artist as well as an art teacher. In addition to earrings, she also makes beautiful stained glass pieces as well as paintings which she also frames herself.

If you've followed me for a while you'll have seen some of work that we sell for Jackie here at The Mystical Cat including a very lovely picture of one our cats, Luna, which obviously isn't for sale but an example of the commissions that Jackie can do.

If you want a commission done of your pet or your car (let's be honest for some their car is their pride and joy!) or something else you want a painting done of , then you can message us here at The Mystical Cat for more details.

Good morning 👋, it's 2nd June and here at The Mystical Cat the weather is currently dry 🌥 but we are expecting patchy rain 🌧 for the majority of today (and week 🤐).

Most of the children are now back at school for their final term before their big summer holidays and the end of another school year 😱 How quick is this year going?

We had a busy week last week with lots of families visiting the area and the fabulous sights and sites to see in this area. It might be "family quieter" this week, but as is normal we're likely to see lots of tourists regardless, mostly without school age children, with Harts Barn Craft Centre likely to remain bustling with people from now on for several months 🙌.

Today is Tuesday and our first day of the working week for us here at The Mystical Cat. We have some bits and pieces to find for individual people's orders this week, so a good time to remind you followers, that we do offer a "search and order" service for specific items that perhaps we don't normally stock - we tend to spend a lot of our Monday doing the same away from the shop as well 🤦‍♀️- running your own business is definitely a 24/7 operation!!

In addition to ordering we do also offer a postage service so if you're not local, we can send things we share on this page or things ordered in, to pretty much anywhere in tbe world. Obviously postage is extra and if abroad, you may be subject to additional tariffs or duties, but can we post...yes, we can!

So on that note we are off to get on with the day and will see you all on this page tomorrow 😉.
