Good morning, its Tuesday and the start of another week here at The Mystical Cat.

A couple of important things to note which we'll reminders out for -

- tomorrow, Wednesday, we will be opening a little later than normal🀞by 11.30am, hopefully earlier, and

- next week, week commencing 14th September we will be closed ALL week for a staycation break as well as a little trip to the Davis Cup tennis🎾. If you need anything you need to come and visit this week....we'll be open every day from now until Sunday.

Over the weekend Jackie of www.sindencox-art.co.uk popped in with a couple of new pieces of stained glass πŸ¦‡πŸ‚ which you can see in the pictures below.

In addition, a few of the other rapidly approaching seasonalπŸŽ„bits have started to appear around the shop, just because πŸ˜‚.

By no means are we going to be going full on πŸŽ… quite yet, we definitely want to do a bit more than normal πŸ§™β€β™€οΈπŸ§›β€β™€οΈπŸ§Ÿβ€β™€οΈπŸ•·πŸͺ„ first, but as we will have to order in more handmade glassπŸŽ„as they sold out in one day, we are trying to be more πŸ›’ and get some things on sale sooner!!

If you have a desire for something specific from us, for the Yuletide season, remember that as a smaller business we really do value your custom AND we do and can stock many items that the bigger retailers do AND at more affordable prices, so please contact us sooner rather than later πŸ™

Morning, it's Sunday 6th September and The Mystical Cat is open πŸ™Œ.

Today here at Harts Barn Craft Centre, it's supposed to be hot, hot, hot πŸ₯΅ ....again 😐 albeit allegedly only for the 1 day.

Alongside our little shop being open, some of the other businesses open today include our favourite coffee β˜•οΈsupplier, the Old Dairy Tearoom as well as Miscellany and Quirk Vintage and Collectables, The Troll House, The Lavender Stone Florist and we spied that Harts Barn Cookery School are also onsite for a cookery class πŸ˜‹

We hope to see some of you today at Harts Barn but whatever you are doing, wishing you a fabulous day.

Good morning Mystical Cat followers....it's Saturday and it appears it's going to be a warm dry day today πŸ˜€ (and getting even hotter tomorrow 🫣🀐).

We had a bit of "excitement" yesterday, if you call it that 🀨 we had to close early for an unexpected but urgent appointment we had been called to, so massive apologies if you arrived to visit us yesterday to a sign on the door .....we're very sorry 😿 but, we are already in and open this morning and raring to go....well raring might be too strong a word but we are in and open until around 4pm ish today.

No deliveries yesterday but we did secure an order of an item which we have been trying to get for a few months now, although we want to keep this quiet at this point, just in case the supplier comes back and tells us they've sold out again...it's frustrating as we have paid for this item, and ordered a far larger quantity as well, we're being hopeful that it will be arriving soon πŸ™Œ

Today we'll catch up with yesterday's planned work 🫣 as well as hoping for a busy visitor day here at Harts Barn Craft Centre.

There's already a fair bit going on today, Harts Barn Cookery School are teaching today, we have our much needed coffee from the Old Dairy Tearoom and as well as our shop, The Mystical Cat, The Lavender Stone Florist and Broadlands Pottery are already open with Miscellany and Quirk Vintage and Collectables, The Troll House and Crafty Upcycling opening later this morning.

Morning it's Friday and a bit of a dry and grizzly start to the day πŸ™ƒ however according to the Met Office here at The Mystical Cat HQ it should be dry for the rest of the trading day.

An apology to start, we have been invited for a cheeky breakfast this morning in our neighbours, the Old Dairy Tearoom so will be open a little later than normal. We do have a sign on the door, and if you’re desperate you can come and disturb us, although I don't anticipate we'll be very late in.

Yesterday another busy day was had, it's lovely to see so many people popping in to say hello πŸ‘‹. We also had in the much awaited delivery of glass Christmas Trees, only 4 and we have to tell you that we have already had reserved 2 and 1 was sold from the box so we only have 1 left ....we are going to be ordering more but if you like them you need to let us know NOW (or by no later than end of tomorrow, Saturday 5th September).

So we're having brekkie, whatever you're doing have an amazing day.

Good morning it's Thursday and here at The Mystical Cat we can confirm that.....
..GARDEN ROBINS 🐦 ARE BACK IN STOCK πŸ₯³

We ordered less than usual because of the lack of storage space (and having to take them in every evening) but also because there is a new range of garden (and home) ornaments are now available from the same supplier and we wanted to order a select few to see πŸ‘€ what they are like - we hope you agree with our initial choices as we picked a small sample of each story line.....
...the choices were vast from a range from Alice in Wonderland, Beatrix Potter, Wind in the Willows as well as some the "Pub Shed" range πŸ˜€ If you are interested in some of the others in the ranges, let us know or pop in and we can share pictures and prices.
We do really hope you like our choices 😊

Today we are receiving a Christmas pre order of glassπŸŽ„- we only ordered 4 though and at least 2 are already sold....so if you want one when we post the picture tomorrow, please contact us ASAP as we know the supplier will run out quick and we do aim to reorder these and their glass orbs in the next couple of days.

Good morning, it's Wednesday 2nd September and the weather here at Harts Barn Craft Centre is a little bit damp with mizzly rain on and off 🀨

We start the day with a change to our plans for next week.....sadly the event we were attending in support of Yeleni Therapy & Support Complementary Health Centre & Charity has been postponed but we have been invited to bring our shop to a Christmas πŸŽ„ event supporting this charity in November. That means we will be open all next week as usual and the lovely new stock that came in yesterday is now on sale at The Mystical Cat πŸ™Œ

We are open all day today until 4pm when we morph into our Leap Holistic Therapies alter ego to do some relaxing energy healing with a client ☺️

So on that brief note, we wish you a very happy Wednesday and will catch you all tomorrow.

Good morning πŸ‘‹ it's Tuesday 1st September 2026, the start of a new weeΔ· and new month here at The Mystical Cat. The sun is currently shining 😎 but with a bit of breeze 🌬and a lot cooler πŸ§₯than in recent weeks πŸ™Œ here outside our little shop at Harts Barn Craft Centre.

September brings a spiritual blend of a calming Ta**us Moon, the start of the Orthodox Christian new church year, and fresh monthly intentions for manifestation.

As the Moon moves into grounded Ta**us on Tuesday, offering a wave of calm after recent eclipse storms. This placement helps zodiac signs and seekers manifest stability, financial mindfulness, and deep inner quiet. The Sun stays in analytical Virgo, pairing well with Ta**us energy to encourage practical goal-setting for the new month.

September also will bring a few days when The Mystical Cat will be closed🚦

Firstly next Tuesday 8th September we are taking the shop to a well-being event in aid of Yeleni Therapy & Support Complementary Health Centre & Charity at Lyonshall in Herefordshire.

Secondly we will be taking some time out later in the month to have some family time away including attending the Davis Cup 🎾 in London πŸ₯³ More on that next week.

Today we have already had a delivery πŸ“¦ in and to be perfectly honest, what we've received is specifically for the event next week πŸ“š πŸ“– πŸ“™ however we will share pictures (and prices) tomorrow as we are happy to special order if this is something wanted and desired by you.

Lastly as we only have 1 metal garden robin left, we bit the bullet and ordered a few more along with some interesting and quirky garden (or home) ornaments that are brand new πŸ˜€ Watch this space for the pictures, we're fully expecting an arrival tomorrow or Thursday of these.

On that note we wish you a fab day - most young people are back in school, college or other place of education, we hope they have a great start to the Autumn term. See you all tomorrow πŸ‘‹

Hellooooo Mystical Cat followers, it's Sunday and our last working day of the week. Yes, we understand that tomorrow is Bank Holiday but as it's our only day off of the week, we are still taking the day to rest and recuperate after our busy week.

So today at Harts Barn Craft Centre it's our last trading day of this month, and after we shut this afternoon around 4pm we'll return next month on Tuesday September 1st πŸ™Œ

It was a very busy albeit pretty soggy Saturday yesterday and we have almost completely sold out of our Garden Robins (bird feeders and decorative versions) so the question we need help with today is....

Should we order more to come in?

We just cannot make our mind up at the minute so really need our followers help πŸ™

A short note today, it's currently dry but rain is intermittently forecast throughout the day, hopefully a bit lighter than yesterday though.

Morning....it's Saturday and what a fabulous start to the weekend πŸ€πŸ˜‚....if you love the wet weather πŸ¦†πŸ¦’πŸ πŸ¦¦ All joking aside the land really does need the rain 🌧and The Mystical Cat, even when the weather isn't the greatest, is OPEN as normal as are the majority of small businesses here onsite including the Old Dairy Tearoom, Miscellany and Quirk Vintage and Collectables, The Troll House, The Lavender Stone Florist and Broadlands Pottery as well as Holistic Health Massage & Massage Trainer, Anna Cole Beauty and Bridie Thorne Hairdressing for pre-booked pampering.

Please do support us and the other local businesses here onsite at Harts Barn Craft Centre.

Yesterday we had a delivery of some replacement items as well as some much asked for new stuff which include for example: copper bracelets (we've had delivered the non-magnet kind but can get with ones with magnets if anyone prefers that).

On that note, please pop by and see us all at Hart Barn Craft Centre today. The Mystical Cat will be open until around 4pm.
