Subtle changes can make a beautiful difference ✨

This patient had treatment to restore volume loss in the medial cheek area. Over time, the deeper fat pads within the face naturally reduce, which can contribute to a more tired or drawn appearance.

In this case, the cheekbone structure was already naturally defined, so the aim wasn’t to add excessive volume or create a sharper look. Instead, carefully placed treatment was used to restore support in the deep medial cheek fat pads, helping to soften the face and create a more balanced, refreshed appearance.

After lots of planning and hard work behind the scenes, I’m so excited to finally welcome my patients into our new home at Sanderson Arcade.

This move has always been about creating a calm, comfortable and relaxing environment where patients can feel at ease from the moment they walk through the door. A fresh new space, the same personalised care, and the same honest approach that SG Aesthetics has always been built on.

Overfilled Face Syndrome (OFS) isn’t simply about “too much filler”. More often, it’s the result of multiple factors gradually building up over time. As aesthetic practitioners, it’s important to look beyond volume alone and assess the face as a whole.

Facial overfilling can happen through a combination of:
•⁠ ⁠repeated treatments without proper reassessment
•⁠ ⁠unsuitable product choice
•⁠ ⁠trend-led beauty standards influenced by social media
•⁠ ⁠poor long-term treatment planning
•⁠ ⁠lack of anatomical understanding

The under-eye area is often one of the first places to show signs of ageing. Loss of volume, skin laxity and changes in facial support can all contribute to a tired appearance over time.

This patient wanted to refresh and support the under-eye area without surgery, using a subtle and natural approach. By carefully restoring structure and balance, we were able to soften the area and create a fresher overall appearance while still looking completely like herself.

My nursing career shaped everything I do.

Long before aesthetics I trained as nurse at Addenbrookes Cambridge and then worked at RVI on general and plastic surgery ward and that foundation has stayed with me throughout every stage of my career. ( Throw back snap )

Being a nurse taught me the importance of compassion, honesty, safety and truly listening to people. It’s why every decision I make in clinic is centred around my patients and their best interests.

I don’t believe in following trends or creating unrealistic expectations. I believe in evidence-based practice, natural results, ongoing education, and treating every patient as an individual.

Over the years, the speciality has changed enormously, but my approach has always remained the same:
honest, transparent and patient-focused care.

Today, on International Nurses Day, I’m feeling proud and grateful for the career path that brought me here 🤍
