Music has a wonderful way of changing how we feel, both mentally and physically. 🎶

When the volume has risen on your pain or stress levels, try putting on a favourite piece of music and completely immersing yourself in it.

Instead of just having it on in the background, really listen to the lyrics, pick out the steady beat or follow the sound of a specific instrument.

Letting your mind sink into a familiar tune is a beautiful, natural way to redirect your attention and help your body find ease. 💙

In warmer weather, it goes without saying that we need to keep our fluids up. After all, our brains are made up of about 70% water.💧

Therefore, it comes as no surprise that staying hydrated is a key part of keeping our energy levels balanced and our minds sharp. Have a cold drink nearby that you can easily grab whenever you are active – your body will certainly thank you for it.

Debbie always reminds her classes that dehydration makes you feel sluggish and fuzzy-headed, because it literally causes your brain tissue to shrink! 🧠📉

Whether it is seated marching to a favourite song or a simple game of ball pass, these gentle movements help loosen stiff muscles, reduce anxiety and bring moments of joy to both individuals and their carers. 🎶✨
